Land’S End On The Earth

A short and pleasant fictional novel. I found it very relatable and could relate to it on many levels in life.

Land's End on Earth is a novella based on a man's journey on Earth. Right from when he is born to when he takes his last breath. During his course of life, he goes through a lot of changes, much like everybody else. He meets people, loves them, moves on too, but sometimes gets attached for a lifetime.Readers will find a companion in the protagonist. The best part is almost all readers of any age can relate to him. Keeping it real is the mantra followed throughout the book.The novella also tells how different people view life differently.To hold onto or let go of seems the theme of the novella.When some are stuck in a never-ending cycle of "chasing," others move on, appreciating the beauty still left around them. To discern is it easier to stay or is easier to go is one of the critical decisions we take every day in our lives. All of it is woven into the novella through the lives of its characters.The protagonist has faced a lot of tragedies since he was three; it continues to the point when he lost his wife. But here is when the novella teaches, it is our mindset and beliefs on how we feel about things that change our lives. Owing to his belief system, we have a chronicle of a man who lived his life to the fullest.As our protagonist goes through different phases of his life, we are served with varying flavors of his love life. During his journey, one of the important lessons we learn is that a part of maturity is to learn to love some people from a distance. Keep them in your prayers, wish them well-being until it keeps your sanity in check.It's when he reaches the Land's End on Earth, the protagonist wins our heart and realizes what our lives are all about; it's about the beginning of eternity.The Lord sends us on Earth, so we visit the beautiful cryptic planet, learn to feel and love our moments before resting in his divinity forever.It's all about staying present, living your life to the fullest like there is no tomorrow, and praying for those who made your journey in this cosmic world beautiful.
