After recently relocating to Florida, I needed something that would outlast the heat and humidity. I tried a half dozen "high quality" products from Amazon before stumbling on Avenue Man.... I finally found my solution!! This hairspray has a very strong hold that lasts, but doesn't make my hair feel sticky or overly stiff. Seems to be healthy for my hair, smells great, and the bottle is generously sized (bigger than I was expecting). It looks like Avenue Man has some other products im going to try now too, since this stuff is amazing. Highly recommend!

Upon opening Amazon's box, I immediately read the ingredients list which is NOT included in the "ingredients" section of Amazon's page for this product. The propellant is hydrofluorocarbon 152a, a known super greenhouse gas. Had I known that, I would not have purchased this product. Amazon says this product may not be returned for "safety" reasons. (Funny, that, because they had no problem delivering it to me in the first place). Unless the manufacturer, with whom I have not yet communicated, agrees to accept this product back, I am out the purchase price. I cannot use this product and will have to deliver it to the hazmat folks.

I am an actor with fine hair and an S-curl. It's nearly impossible for me to keep any style when I'm on set. Enter Avenue Man Extreme Hold Hairspray! Sergio works miracles with my haircuts, and he led me to this hairspray and the sculpting foam. I don't feel like I'm wearing much product at all, but it helps my hair maintain its shape and volume during long days and multiple takes. I didn't previously know that all hairsprays are NOT created equal. This is the only spray I use for the TV/film hair that I was looking for. A little goes a long way--so it's definitely worth the money because it lasts a long time. Sergio is very passionate about the quality of his products, and it shows. Highly recommended!

Went back to the cheep spray because this wouldn't dry as fast and just weighed down the hair. Wouldn't be bad if it wasn't priced so high. There is what appears to be a nice adjustable nozzle that allows you to control the flow of spray however adjusting the nozzle did nothing; it just sprayed full blast.

This product is expensive - but worth it!! It has excellent hold, even after being on my feet all day, but for the first minute is very malleable and I can get my hair just the way I want it before it sets in. Doesn't weigh my hair down like other products. Even better, my fiance commented how nice it smells (she hates when I use other hair spray and leaves the bathroom when I do). Great addition to my arsenal - the first hair spray made specifically for men!

I decided to use Avenue Man sculpting foam and hairspray in my routine. While they both work great for my hairstyle, there is a downside to the hairspray. It does work, and will definitely hold all day. However, the smell is very strong. It smells like every old hairspray out there. Have had some complaints on it as well. Still searching for a true good hold, non smelly hairspray…

I'm a big fan this addition to Avenue Man's product line. Working in finance in NYC, I need a consistent and reliable product that helps me maintain a professional presence, so I keep a bottle of this stashed in my office. Because I usually ride a Citibike to work, the first thing I need to do once I come into the office is take a brush through my hair to fix my helmet hair. I finish with a few spritzes of this to hold everything in place. It does exactly what I need for long hours on the job. Very happy with this purchase!

This is the fourth product that I’ve purchased from this company (I’ve also bought the sculpting foam, texture clay, and firm hold hairspray), and I’m extremely happy with them all. I have very curly hair, and the spray works perfectly for me. The hold is much firmer than the firm hold hairspray, which I like because my hair is particularly difficult to manage. It leaves my hair feeling soft all day, and also has a pleasant subtle scent. Overall I would recommend this hairspray to anyone, but especially to those with curly hair.
