handy tool for brittle wire
We have only used it within the last few days, so no long-term use can be judged at the present time. We patched and stretched some really old barbed wire that would have broken even further off with the traditional way to repair. The crimps seemed to hold it tight. I crimped it 4 or 5 times and stretched as tight as we dared considering the brittleness of wire. We were pleased with the product. It was harder to crimp them than it would have been a few years ago due to our bodies getting old, lol. but... Well worth it - handy little tool.

Best way to mend your fence
We have over 100 acres with multiple fence lines, and repairing fence is a necessity but a job I dislike. This tool is a game changer and makes it so much faster to repair broken barbed wire.

Great crimper at a unbelievable price!!
Its crazy this cost $12! A few years ago I bought them for $50. Same tool too. Newer crimpers have slots which eliminate failure. I have a Nicopress 4 slot which cost $230. I don't like to use it when I have hired hands helping me with fencing because crimpers are always left somewhere in the field and lost. At $12 you get the job done and can afford to buy 10 of them.

Works great
Worked great for us, a lot easier than the twisting etc we used to have to do to splice broken strands. Dozens used so far with no slips

Good quality but awkward design
Very awkward to use with the crimping area next to the cutting surface. Two separate tools is a much better way to go.
