Quality, Looks, and Accessories
We replaced an old ceramic double sink and really like the large, single-bowl style. My wife wasn’t sure she wanted the single bowl but quickly realized how much more functional it is. She loves it now. Being in the remodeling business, I ordered the brand and guage we use, Kraus 16-gauge stainless. We have trusted Kraus for 20+ years and have never, to my knowledge, been disappointed. When researching, I saw some comments about other cheaper brands’ stainless finish starting to rust or stain after a short while. I’m grateful for those reviews. The dual-mount style can be installed as a drop-in (top-mount) or under-mount. This was important because we will redo our counters and cabinets in the future, and I want to use the same sink to save money when that time comes. The sink was quite easy for two people to install. We like the look. It added a nice modern look to our kitchen. My wife liked how Kraus designed the sink strainer with a large stainless disc that covers the black rubber of the garbage disposal guard all the time. It gives the sink a clean, finished look. The cutting board and the drying rack were the bonus. We keep the cutting board nearby and use it frequently. It saves counter space—very helpful in our small kitchen. The drying rack is useful for saving space, too. We keep it on the sink at all times and roll it up toward the side when we need the full sink bowl.I would definitely recommend the sink. The Kraus reputation, the look and feel of quality, the tasteful design, and the accessories made it the perfect deal for us.P.S. After a few weeks of use, we found that the sink cleans very quickly, too.

Good sink with a few designs flaws
The bottom of the sink has discoloured where the rack pads are on the bottom of the rack. The corners are so square it is hard to get dirty out of the corners of the sink. The dry rack is great. Water is slow to drain out of the sink, as it is very flat. I like it, but there are some improvements that are needed. The quality of the sink is good, the covers for the drain is not, they are cheap.

Requires larger hole than expected from the spec
I ordered this to replace a rusted American Standard cast iron sink that had considerable rust. It was in a corner at 45 degrees to the cabinets, so space was very limited. I spent a lot of time carefully researching and looking at the specs and knew this might require a slightly larger hole, but it was close. The actual sink needed about an inch in each direction more space than the spec had me believe and it ended up being a lot more work than I expected. But it was so worth it. Because of the tightness of space it was impossible to use any of the clips that anchor sink to the work surface. The two stone worktops that meet in the corner were not perfectly horizontal and so it was impossible to get the sink perfectly flat, but silicone sealer helped minimize the rocking. The sink is very rigid. With very careful planning I was able to open up the hole with an angle grinder and the result is beautiful. My wife is so happy with the result she said “Now I don’t need a new kitchen!” making this the best $300 I ever spent! It’s perfect with a Kraus Oletto High Arc pull down sprayer. Also choose a Kraus disposal since the old unit was over 20 years old.It was impossible to use the mount clips due to lack of space. If your worktop is perfectly flat this won’t matter. This was my first sink install. If I were doing it again I would not apply silicone sealer to the sink per the instructions, but would apply it to the counter. This ensures the sealer is in the right place and also gives you something to hold as you lower it into place.Very Happy Wife, priceless!

Hard to keep clean due to poor drainage slope toward the drain.
After over 4 months of daily use I can with certainty state that I am very un-satisfied with this sink. It is very hard to keep clean due to the very shallow pitch toward the drain, the flat bottom and sharp corners. Debris accumulate easily and do not drain towards the drain, they just settle on the bottom making every task involve water sweeping. Do not think that it will solve the problem if you have a detachable sweep spray faucet, that is what I have. Of course if you just let food debris accumulate, that would not only be disgusting and foul, but it will harden and stick, then you will have a very hard job to clean it out. That means each and every time you use it, you will be water sweeping it out, which is time consuming, wastes lots of water, and splashes to wipe up.My advise:Buy a model that has good slope toward the drain and rounded not square corners. I can't believe that any engineer would design a sink in such a way, I totally hate this sink in every possible way. It takes me literally 10x as long to keep clean than my old cheap, small, shallow depth sink. Many other reviews say the same thing, I should have listened!

Love it!
I love everything about this sink. It's large and deep with plenty of space to get a lot of work done. The accessories are very nice. I love the roll up dish drainer and the floor grid. I still have to season the cutting board, so I haven't used it yet.The sink is heavy. I recommend two people to lift it into the space. The locking clips were pretty darn to secure in place, but the sunk is so heavy, and I put so much silicone sealant around the perimeter that I'm not worried about it moving out of place. I do wish they would have been easier to secure. It is a heavier grade stainless steel, but be careful when you clean it. It doesn't scratch as easily as an 18 grade, but it will scratch if you use Comet or any other dry powder cleaner.Overall, it's a great sink.
