Great replacement blade
I’ve used the silky saw for about 5 years. This was my first replacement blade. They are shaper than anything I’ve seen. We carry these for cleaning trails on dirt bikes. The metal is not as flexible as other ones so you need to be more thoughtful when you’re cutting. You can’t just force the blade in a bind or it will snap.

This is the Large tooth (8/30mm) version. Great blade though!
Great quality replacement, prompt delivery.Product is labeled incorrectly but picture is of the correct product as related to what I was looking for. Seller lists medium teeth, but blade is large as shown by the [8] on it. The curved Gomboy blades are all large teeth as far as I'm aware, but they WILL work on all manner of soft, hard, green or dry woods.

Great saw
Great product, cuts well and stays sharp. Need to be careful with any side pressure though. Snapped a blade cutting a fallen tree when it got pinched.

Big upgrade from the medium tooth straight blade
I bought a silky gomboy 2 several years ago for backpacking trips. That one had the straight blade with medium teeth (the curved version wasn't being made yet). I've gotten LOTS of use out of it, but I always thought it was a little overhyped. Then I saw they made these large tooth curved blades and that they are compatible with the handle I have. It is certainly noticeable how much easier it is to cut with this blade, it is quite a bit faster. I'm sure having the larger teeth gives more of a bite into the wood but also the curve seems to take some of the effort out of your pull. Definitely worth the upgrade and hoping to get many more trips with it.
