Works the same as round cable cat 7/8 connector sets that have a wire positioning block. 1) Strip 5/8" (15mm) of the flat cable outer insulation. Remove the foils and fold the drain wire back along the cable. 2) Orient the clear plastic positioning block with the wedge side same as the main connector contacts side. 3) Insert the still insulated colored wires to the positionong block and trim flush. 4) Seat the positioning block into the RJ45 connector - ensure the wedge side aligns to connector contacts side and the drain wire aligns to the connector shield. 5) crimp with a standard RJ45 tool and enjoy your high data rate cable.

Nearly every other connector I've used has small channels/guides to help direct each wire into it's specific place. Not only does this product lack those, but the end of it is too thick, making it so the individual wires can stack on top of each other. These two issues combined make it really difficult to crimp these properly.

These were excellent. I do wish that they were pass through plugs and had more shielding. And boots came with the pack.

The item you receive is not conducive to the item you see on the product page. The connector you get cannot fit the wires without being stripped, and they sloppily fit into the guide which leads to bad cross-talk. Impossible to get a good crimp 0/10

There aren’t slots in cable end (rj45) to keep wires lined up and in current order 50/50 chance of being close and 0 chance of wire actually crimping properly
