Neutrogena Sheer Zinc Oxide Dry-Touch Face Sunscreen with Broad Spectrum SPF 50, Oil-Free, Non-Comedogenic & Non-Greasy Mineral Sunscreen, 2 fl. oz

I decided to try a mineral sunscreen because I’m tired of my eyes burning from regular sunscreen. I use this out in the yard when I do gardening work. I used it for the first time two weeks ago and I was out in the yard for several hours and had no sunburn at all. Also, no burning in my eyes. It did leave a little bit of white cast, but for working in the yard it was fine.

The Zinc kind is good for the earth. Only downside is that it makes skin much whiter than compared to other sunscreen so be patient when rubbing it in

Neutrogena makes trustable products. I've used their sunscreen for years, along with their other skin products. I love how Neutrogena makes affordable products that are effective and safe. While this sunscreen does provide me protection and has a matte finish, it has a strong white cast. My skin is fair, but this sunscreen takes it to another level. I look vampiric in broad daylight. I thought mineral sunscreen had evolved - hence, "sheer!" I do find this sunscreen hard to wash off with regular soap - I highly recommend doing a double cleanse. Definitely be warned, if you're not sensitive (or have an issue with) to chemical sunscreen, I advise using that or a tinted mineral sunscreen. I use this sunscreen when I go for runs - since I sweat a lot, I like how the water resistance keeps the sunscreen in tack. I feel like this product does prime the skin a little, if you plan to use a powder foundation, perhaps the white cast won't bother you too much. But there are other great products in the market, and you shouldn't have to accommodate to the product. It should work for you.

This is by far one of the best products I have ever put on my face! Once I started using it as an add-on to my daily face routine, my skin began to look more even-toned, hydrated, and smooth.

This sunscreen is perfect!! I’ve tried probably one hundred different types that claimed to be non greasy or for sensitive skin. I’ve had to resort to using straight zinc oxide ointment and looking ridiculous if I was going to be out in the sun because it was the only thing that worked and didn’t irritate my face. The people leaving the negative reviews just don’t get it. This sunscreen is a bit thick so I just mix it daily in my hand with a little squirt of my normal facial moisturizer and it goes on perfect! With the added moisturizer it absorbs within a few minutes and doesn’t leave me looking pale because it’s diluted a bit. Please Neutrogena don’t ever stop making this! Just explain to people to mix it with a dab of moisturizer. I wear it every day and have never been able to wear sunscreen daily despite being a redhead and thus a poster child for skin cancer. This is light with no greasy feel, doesn’t burn or sting at all, not even the eyes, it leaves no shine at all, it lasts all day, one bottle lasts a long time making it very affordable. I just can’t say enough how much I love this sunscreen!!!!

So I notice the listing says this is for Sheer Zinc "Dry Touch", but nowhere in the packaging or product does it say "Dry Touch". Even in the photos for the product, none of them show "Dry Touch" on them for the face sunblock, and only one image for the body sunscreen 3 pack shows a different tube that says it. I know Neutrogena does have other sunscreens that say "Dry Touch" on them that may well be, but most of those come in blue tubes/packaging, not yellow, and be careful because some are not mineral. This one says it contains no oils, yet it sits on your face very greasy and shiny for HOURS. When first applying it feels thick and you really have to work to appear it around your face, it's not thin or light at all. Hours later I could touch my face, and my hand and fingers would come away shiny and oily. I thought this was supposed to be more of a light, matte sunscreen, but it's definitely neither. Giving it a 3 because I'm sure it will still protect from the sun, which is it's main purpose. But this cannot be my daily sunscreen.

Works perfectly. Completely unscented. When first applied it is opaque white, but don’t worry. Spread it around by rubbing and it disappears. Doesn’t immediately come off when swimming. It doesn’t clog my pores and is not oily. And it doesn’t sting my eyes. It feels noticeable on the skin for a very short time. I put Cortisone-10 Aloe Cream lotion on my face before applying which makes it easier to wash the sunscreen completely off in the shower. Good stuff! Not sure, but I think some scuba diving locations / resorts/ pools only allow mineral sunscreens like this one. ( (Forgot to mention- I’m guessing you can use lotion other than the Cortisone-10 Aloe Cream (it’s available on Amazon) but it works so well that I stick with it. )

Great product, but too cloudy for my black skin. I look like white face even under makeup it gives me a grayish look. It is by far a grat sun block. Probably less showing on paler skun.

It dissolves good in skin Very good for sensitive skin But very expensive 🥺

I love this SPF. It gives u a kinda filtered look. The only negative is that it does leave a white cast but I think that fades over the next few hours. The Positives are that it's not oily which is what I wanted. It's thicker than other spf's I've tried and honestly, I would keep buying this. I wear this before I apply make up and make up doesn't budge.
