Cranes 6 Piece Dinnerware Set (Set of 6)

These are so beautiful! I love the cranes, and I can't wait to try them out with some homemade sushi. I bought a sushi book and a sushi making mat, and plan to make some cooked salmon or shrimp sushis. Looking forward to setting the table with these! (The caption saying "set of six" might be a little misleading- what it means is there are six pieces to this set, but it's really just two place settings each with three pieces to it- a sushi plate, a little sauce bowl and a set of chopsticks).

Sandhill cranes fill the skies here in early spring as they prepare to migrate north. I chose this sushi set because of those glorious birds. I like almost everything about this set - the pattern is a loose rendering of the cranes and waves, stylized yet traditional. Nice quality clay and glaze though not the best porcelain. It's sturdy and the size of bowl and plate works for sushi, etc. The chopsticks are ok, but I don't use them. I'm considering buying more of these in various shapes. Useful, attractive and cheerful!

Matches what a friend got me tho I only have one bowl, maybe I can get the friend to buy me the other bowl and I'll have both sets yup. Everything came in fine for me.

Very nice set--exactly what I expected. Good quality--no chips or scratches, and the finish seems durable. The price on this set was great, so I was a little concerned about quality, but no problems at all. We will use this set for years.

I got these plates on time and they were very protectively wrapped. They have character and I'm sure will be a conversation piece when I have friends over for sushi!
