Love the concept
Love the concept, cats were curious about it immediately. Still not scratching it as much as I would hope, but very attracted to it, especially with the catnip. The first day I got it, 2 of the plastic links broke--one of them I have no idea why--just found it broken in the morning, the other broke while I was placing it. I need to figure out if I can order replacement links, otherwise like the product.Updating review: I contacted the company and they are sending replacement clips, so overall good product and good customer service!

Doesn't Last
This was completely ripped up less than one week in and my cats haven't even used it that much. It's attractive but poor quality.

Looks very cool, but very non functional
Within a few months 3 of the 4 plastic clips that hold the two pieces together snapped off. I haven't moved it, and my cat doesn't even scratch it, though he will perch on it quite often. I have no idea how this thing passed quality assurance. Looks very cool, but very non functional. Stay away.

my poor toes
My cat has really warmed up to this now that I have the pieces leaning against the couch arms. However, while it is easy on the eyes I wish I had gone for the cheaper versions. The Real Teak Wood Cover is rather sharp on the edges and I have painfully stubbed my toes and cut them open a few times. The cover also breaks and splinters easily as it is so thin and I had to glue pieces back together, the cover wasn't even attached very well in the first place. I have had this for only 2 months. The actually scratchier part is very good though and my cat enjoys it. it seems like it will last a long time. I just need to be more careful with my toes!

Plastic links snap easily
The product is nice looking, the cardboard is durable, and my cat loves it. However, the plastic links that hold the pieces together are cheaply made and not very strong. Be careful not to put the links together into a shape that will strain them - if so, they will break! 3/4 of mine have snapped, so I just opted to separate the two parts and use them as individual scratchers. This is fine with me but kind of defeats the purpose of the product.

Lasts forever
I absolutely love this cat scratcher. I purchased this one to replace a Katris scratcher I have had for 2 years. I have 3 cars and they all love this scratcher. I was very dissatisfied with other cardboard scratchers because my cats tore them up in no time and I had chunks of tore up cardboard everywhere. This scratcher lets the cat scratch to his hearts desire and doesn’t shred like others. I love you can put them in different positions also.

Good quality. Multiple set up configurations is a nice plus
Cat loves it. I liked the adjustable or multiple set up styles. I set mine up so there is a small "cave" for the cat to hide and play in. When she starts wearing it away, I can swap the configuration and she'll have a new surface to "tear up".

Not my cat's favorite...
My cat ignores this, unfortunately. Also, the provided catnip drops straight through the cardboard onto the ground.
