I have been making these small metal kits for years, mostly name brand ME ones. This kit was a surprisingly fun build. The instructions come with a separate sheet for the part numbers. That is a huge plus for me, I've always been annoyed at the ME kits that have the tiny part numbered pictures on half of the first page, forcing you to constantly flip back and forth between steps and the small images to find which parts are required at each stage. These images are large and easy to identify from a glance so you can leave the part number map to the side while you are going through assembly steps. The kit is also a good scale. Pieces are easy to work with, I didn't have any problems with pieces too small to work. There were a few images on the instructions that could have used more detail but nothing that prevented final assembly. I used glue for the added plastic bomb and nose cowling details.

The puzzle is absolutely fun and is beyond great to relax and clear the mind as you work on a little hobby and or project with one of these puzzles. This one isn't what I'd say is too hard to be fun, but it is also not what I would consider easy by any means! But it is a great way to get the brain going and keep the creative juices flowing. I would recommend if you like stuff like this.

This is my first metal model. The whole procedure is new to me and every other person that thinks to give these a try. The directions are primarily pictographs that illustrate assemble. That's fine and the way things are done these days but we are dealing with small parts that need to be bent in specific directions at rather specific angles. What Piececool should have done is greatly enlarge those pictographs. They tried but IMO failed because they did not want to use more ink and paper. Most modelers will have most of the necessary tools to assemble but what a first timer will not have is the tool to bend or twist the tabs. Piececool would do themselves a favor by including that tool in every kit. They don't because they want to sell you the tool at an outrageous price. I have been using my fingernails, fingers and other small metal objects to bend the tabs. It is discouraging, as can be read in the reviews, to find yourself unable to complete the kit because you are unfamiliar with procedures and don't have "the tool" That's not a way to get people involved and increase sales. The detail and finish is top notch and when built, if you can get it done, will make a cool piece thus the name Piececool. I model to relax and so far this kit has not done that for me because the directions are sub par and if I break a tab because I don't have the bender the model is trash before finished. I would like to say take your time and all will be OK but I can't. Of course take your time but without proper guidance from Piececool you are on your own. There are not any good you tube vids as of yet
