Can this be used with trackmaster?

The tracks are practically the same as the (newer) TrackMaster2 tracks, so TrackMaster2 trains (those with teeth on the drive wheels) can run on them. Moreover, the whole set is actually a re-release of the same TrackMaster2 set, only with Thomas in the style of All Engines Go.

Can this be used with the old take and play or thomas adventures tracks?
