Very stiff.
These rollers are way too stiff and they don’t stand in place. You might get away with using them on very long hair like 22 inches and higher.

Just…..bad
I never write poor reviews, but these rollers deserve zero stars. First off, I’ve used flexi rods, perm rods, pillow rollers, sponge rollers, magnetic rollers, curlformers, you name it I’ve tried it. They all have their flaws and benefits so I’m writing this from a place of familiarity with hair rollers of all types. These rollers are like worse flexi rods. They have a nice satin covering, sure, but it is way harder to connect the clasps(?) than it would seem. They don’t click or give any feedback whatsoever when they’re connected, so half the time when you think they’re connected they really aren’t and fall right out. Also, after trying to use them for the FIRST TIME one broke, leaving the clasps connected and the seam ripped where the clasp used to be. They aren’t NEARLY as comfortable to wear as it would seem (I’d rather sleep in perm rods tbh) and just all around fiddly to use. They’re also incredibly stiff, not soft at all, imagine trying to connect the ends of a flexi rod and you’ll have a good idea of these. I really wanted to love these rollers as a way to maintain a bit of stretch and curl (I have natural hair) overnight after I’ve done a proper roller set, but they just aren’t it. Overall lame, if you read this then take my advice and just get some normal pillow rollers tbh. They’re way easier, way more comfortable, and they’re going for like $15 for 30 of them on Amazon.

Heatless Curls
I have shorter hair and I bought these hoping they would do the trick. I found them more difficult to secure than others that I have used and not as soft. Pretty aesthetic, but I think there’s better out there.

Easy beautiful curls over night.
Great for beautiful, bouncy curls. Best for mid length or short hair. I used this with a set of larger rollers and my granddaughter’s hair looked beautiful! Easy to store, easy to sleep on.

These work!
Easy to use in long hair. I bought these for my youngest daughter. She has medium thickish wavy to straight hair. I was able to easily wrap her hair in these, in addition to it being easy for her to wrap her hair on her own. They work so well on her hair that we have to be careful not to wrap her hair too tight. Overnight, tight wrap results in some super Nellie Olson kinda curls and they do not brush out!!! We had to spray her hair with lots of water to “uncurl” the super tight and curly curls! We’ve been using them on damp hair and she’s been wearing overnight. Likely we will try other wettish and tightness variations. Unfortunately, my shoulder length, thinnish hair slips right out of the soft rolls almost immediately, if damp. If wet, once my hair starts to dry it slips right off the rollers, even if wound tight. Best for long, almost to top of butt hair. Based on our experiences.

Might work but very difficult to unsnap
I really wanted to like these rollers and was excited when they arrived last night. I have several other products from this company and have been pleased with the quality. These foam rollers, however, were highly disappointing. The pros: they are well-constructed and seem sturdy. The satin cover is nice and won't damage hair. I have very long, very thick hair and when I wrapped a section of hair around the roller, it stayed, even though my hair was dry, with minor slippage. I believe that they would effectively curl hair but I can't guarantee that as I only did a test with one, for a few minutes. I simply wanted to test to see if they were comfortable and easy to use. In terms of rolling your hair, they are easy to use. I gave them 1 star because after rolling my hair on one roller and securing it, I could not unsnap the roller to remove it from my head. I tried to pull the snap apart repeatedly and could not. I had to ask my husband to pry the snap apart and he, too, struggled. I know that the snap needs to be secure to hold, but this was a bit too much. One he finally pried it apart, I tested the snap when the roller wasn't rolled and sitting on my head--it is still extremely hard to pry part (see picture). Maybe I got a bad batch. Maybe they loosen over time. But I can't imagine dealing with this frustration daily. I also see the potential for individual hairs to twist and catch around the plastic snap. So, sadly, I am returning these and hope that the other option, the one long foam roller, works better.

Love!
I love these! Comfortable to sleep in and give me the exact look I get with my curling iron. It took me sometime to learn how to roll them right. It after several tries I will use these everyday! This will save so much heat damage to my hair! These last longer than curling iron curls.

Pillow rollers are too slippery and fo not stay up!
These don’t work at all. My hair slides through them and they won’t stay rolled up. I do NOT recommend this product!

These rollers are fantastic. I have fine slightly longer than shoulder length hair and these rollers are the ONLY way I can get overnight curls. I have tried so many different methods, this is the only one that works. Yes the rollers are slippy - they are satin and are meant to be gentle on the hair. Just spray a little bit of water over the hair ends before you start to wrap and this keeps the hair in place. Not soaking wet - slightly damp on ends/mid length. Then roll and clip together. I split hair into 3 sections and manage to link the rollers together on top of my head so I can sleep comfortably. Perfect!
