These XL pee pads are so much better than those we can buy in our rural community. We have only rescue dogs, some of whom lived for 6 or 7 years in a wire cage and were never allowed out. So they peed and pooped on themselves and on the doggies in the wire cages beneath theirs. In the case of our toy poodle, the mill owner cleaned both poodle and cage by aiming a high-powered water hose in at them. In any case, that poodle never learned, nor has she been able to learn, to do her business outside. It's been a miracle that we were able to teach her to use a pee pad, which we locate directly in front of the back door. And she pees a lot. The thin pads we buy locally just turn to mush or shred or get pushed aside by the door opening and closing and so must be fastened to the floor with masking tape. They also have to be doubled up. The XL pads solve all these problems. Being several layers thick, their own weight holds them flat onto the floor, but there are sticky sections that hold the edges down. The door doesn't push them aside, they are highly absorbent, so no shredding or mushing and the floor doesn't turn into a lake. I can't say how these pads would work for a large puppy or dog. You know how they miss the pad sometimes or pee on the edge. But for my small poodle, with her hit or miss peeing habits, they work wonderfully. Highly recommended by me for small, maybe medium puppies.

For me its always the price first, then the reviews and my needs. We have two puppies a year old and when we are working they just can't hold it for ten hours. The first day I used them I was impressed. They are big so they cover a large area. They haven't leaked once and they are cheaper by 20 dollars from the ones I buy from Petsmart.

These serve their purpose. Definitely absorb. I'll probably buy again but the whole tab thing has me wondering.However. 1. The tabs stick to the floor. And when I mean they stick, the just don't let go. I even tried the tabs on top of the other tabs that are still stuck. Now I have a stack of tabs.2. If the pup has more pee than it can absorb (3" or so from the edge) expect the floor to be wet every time.

I am so incredibly grateful to have found these puppy pads with the adhesive sticks on the bottom. I bought the large and XL sizes. My boxer is 13 and recovering from a cluster of seizures and adjusting to new serious medications to manage the seizures and the underlying cause. Sometimes he doesn't realize he has to go until he has to go right at that very moment. Or he can't wait until we see him at the back door to let him out. So we pretty much tiled these on my first floor and pull them up and replace each as it is soiled. We also stick them on our couch cushions under a sheet to catch anything my dog may do while sleeping on the couch, same thing for his dog beds. They don't slide, they hold up to a lot, and the pads are super absorbent as well. The one thing I'm not the biggest fan of is the difficulty removing the adhesive of it does not remain on the pad when you pull it up. It absolutely is possible to remove it without damaging my hardwood floors it's just tedious. But if it were easier they wouldn't stick as well as they do. These wee wee pads are a godsend. I've already ordered a new pack in each size!

Works really well when my smallest dog will not to out in the rain

These pads are great and absorbs my elderly chihuahua pee. The adhesive sticks to the ground and its hard to take off of my tile. I had to use goo gone in order to remove the tape. There needs to be a better way to stick this onto the floor.

This has got to be the worst puppy pad ever designed. For one, the adhesive completely glues itself to the floor. Sure, a good strong adhesive is nice when it actually helps the pad stick to the ground, but ideally it’s something that is easily removed. Secondly, the pad looked absolutely completely dry only for me to remove it and see that pee had literally seeped onto every single edge and just be trapped between the “leak proof” pad and the floor. This did not absorb any urine at all it just goes straight through it. I have never been more dissatisfied with a product.

Well, cat owners will like it too 😁 My cat sometimes backs up too far and over the edge of the litter box he goes. I was using 3 of the standard size doggie pads and tape, lots of tape to hold it all together. These pads are the perfect size for a large size litter box. The corner edge tape makes it so easy to keep in place. I almost forgot to mention the most important factor, NO Urine smell! I didn’t even notice when the mat was soiled as there was no urine smell as there are with the other pads I was using. I can’t say enough about these pads. The effectiveness, convenience and longer lasting ability to absorb and capture odors makes the price seem like a bargain to me now. I took a chance and I’m completely satisfied! Using for our diabetic cat who is having issues peeing outside of litter box in one area and these have worked like a charm!

The xl size is great. Not nearly as many bad aims that ran off the edge of the pad. My retriever pup can use it 3-4 times during the night without it leaking. Mishaps have been more her not quite fully on the bad than the pad itself leaking. There well may be better but if there is I haven't found it yet
