Sports modes
This watch counts your steps but it also can be set into different sports modes depending on what your doing. You can set it for a walk or a run or a jog. It can easily help track and improve your sleep. It's easy to charge and doesn't die for a while.

There's a lot to like
This is a pretty darn good watch, especially for people involved in sports and tracking their fitness goals. It is essentially a Fitbit type watch which gives you readouts for steps, miles, and calories. It has settings for various activities, and it can track your heart rate, your O2 saturation, your sleep during the night. The dial is large, but even on my narrow wrist it looks like the right size, and the watchband is very comfortable. The color is good on the watch, and it is touch sensitive. Also, and this is a huge plus, the battery lasts for up to a week. Holy cow. I also liked being able to put one of my travel photos as the picture on the watch with a simple time/date. One warning- there is really no manual with this watch, and I had no idea you could put your own photos on it until I re-read the Amazon listing and saw it was possible. (TIP: In the WearOS app, click on the watch icon at the bottom, then click on Dial Gallery, then click on the pad and pencil in the upper right!)The only drawback (and it might not be a drawback for you) is that the watch comes with its own OS. So you cannot simply go to the Google Play Store and down load a watch face for it. I was initially disappointed about this, having gotten used to a smartwatch that told me the time/date/current weather/and 3 day forecast all on the watch face. But the longer I wore this watch, the less I missed those things. The watch app comes with 106 different watch faces to choose from, or you can make a simple one of your own. For the price, this is a very good deal.

My Active Teen Loves This Watch!
I selected it because of the cool colorful design AND because it's more geared for someone who is active in sports vs. someone who just exercises. What I mean by that is, it has 8 different sports settings so that my son knows when his body is overreaching. For example, if the watch says that he burned more calories in the few hours that he was playing a specific sport but that he didn't eat much, I want him to see that notification and go get something to fuel his body before moving on to the next daily sport. He is a type of kid that just doesnt stop. My hope is that understanding his heart rate in real time, steps, distance and overall how hard he's worked that day can put things into perspective for him and help him pace himself accordingly. The watch is fully customizable so that if he does track more than any other sport, the watch can do more heavy tracking of that.A few other features I love:Phone trackersleep trackerreceive callssend and receive textsSM apps integration.Cameralong lasting battery

Another option in this category
I have used alot of these similarly priced smart watches. It's great for fitness tracking, but like the rest, the app/OS is awful. The measurements were fairly closed to other, higher priced options I've used (fitbit), although they do become slightly less reliable when you are exercising at a high heart rate.Basically, if you like the design, this is as good as any to give these types of watches a try in this cheaper price range.

Looks good, works well enough.
This watch looks really nice. My 14 year old wanted it to track his vitals during track practice. The physical activity uses are apparently pretty good. The heart rate and o2 aren't as reliable as my o2 finger sensor monitor, but it's close enough. My son likes the look of it and uses it to time his runs and work on improving his run times. The app seems to work well enough. My son likes the dial choices well enough. I'll update if needed.
