Lalaloopsy: Meet the Lalaloopsy Girls (1)

I purchased this for my foster daughter who is 8. She loves LaLaLoopsy and has a collection of mini dolls as well as a large doll. She also has the DVD and the sticker book. So this book naturally fits into her selection. We read for 15 minutes each night and she always picks this book off the shelf. The kids can pick any book they'd like- and we have quite a selection. Every single night this is her favorite and first choice. The book is approximately 10 pages long. It features an array of beautifully artistic pictures on each page. They are vibrant and colorful and oh so sweet. Girls love them no matter their age. Her sister, who is 10, also likes looking through the book. It's just a collection of all things girly. Each different page introduces you to a different original LaLaLoopsy. You get to read a little bit about Crumbs Sugar Cookie, Mittens Fluff ‘N’ Stuff, Peanut Big Top, Spot Splatter Splash, Jewel Sparkles, Dot Starlight, and Bea Spells-A-Lot. You also get to view a picture of that doll and all things that represent her. And of course- you get to meet their adorable little pets. There isn't a lot of writing on each page. About 3 to 4 sentences. Ideal for my daughter who is in 2nd grade. She reads very well and can easily get through the pages without problem. The words are not exactly small- but they are easy enough to sound out for young readers. The pages aren't overwhelming. It's not storybook style- it's more of a small child-appropriate documentary on the dolls. Even I, at 21, enjoyed the book dearly. This book only comes in a soft cover version- but it's such few pages that hardcover would almost seem a waste. The paper and cover are of good quality. It's not cheaply made. The cover is glossy, but the pages inside are just a thick quality book paper. They're not glossy. But the picture quality is good nevertheless. The thing I love most is how good-natured and age appropriate this book is. It fits her personality with all things girly. It only takes her about 5 minutes to finish the entire book- including taking a moment to look at each page's picture. But she can reread it over and over without losing interest. It's so perfect for young girls. Positive and outgoing and so full of color. I'd highly recommend it to any young girl who loves LaLaLoopsy.

My daughter loves using this book to name and match all the girls she sees on the Lalaloopsy show! She can also match the animals that go with which girl, the Lalaloopsy littles that go with the girls, etc. And of course she has a list of the girls that she wants to have in her personal collection. It is fun for parents and/or grandparents to read or look at and understand what their daughter or granddaughter are talking about with all this Lalaloopsy stuff. :)

My daughter loves Lalaloopsy and this book. She loves telling me about each of them. I think this book was more helpful for me than anything. The book introduces 8 of the characters - Crumbs, Jewel, Dot, Peanut, Bea, Mittens, Pillow, and Spot. Explains how they are made, who their pet is, their likes and dislikes and their little catch phase.

I got this gift for my 9 year old sister and she just loves it! Even though it's a little bit below her reading level I think she just enjoys the cute pictures and the characters. I think this is a perfect buy for any kid who likes lalaloopsy especially for the price.

This isn't a storybook. It simply summarizes the original 8 dolls 'stats' in book form...and it's great. My 4 y/o loves reading it together and she enjoys memorizing the facts of each doll. If you're looking for a storybook style Lalaloopsy book, there is currently another book called Party Time that is a traditional story which also features the 8 original dolls. More books are set to be released Jan 2012

My daughter is just getting into Lalaloopsy and this book is wonderful. It basically provides a profile, complete with backstory, date of birth, favorite things, and "made out of" section, for each of the main Lalaloopsy girls. My four year-old loves it, and its one book I dont complain about having to read.

Grand daughter is a LaLaloopsy fan, owning several large dolls. I ordered this book when I bought her the first two dolls for Christmas. I thought the book was a good introduction to the origin of the doll. It showed all of the dolls in the pictures.

When my granddaughter opened this book on Christmas, she just kept staring at the pages and turning them for hours. She really loved this book. I will buy it again once it wears out, because it is obvious this autistic child is crazy about Lalaloopsy.

Lalaloopsy: meet the lalaloopsy girls is a result wonderful read, an underrated piece of history that gives some result timeless social commentary for the reader to ponder over. The characters are so well defined, and overall the story is an original tale filled with twists and turns you'll never see coming. Give it a chance, as this book may just surprise you.

Para personas -niñ@s principalmente- fans de estas muñecas y que tienen unas nociones iniciales de inglés. Buena calidad a todos los niveles: dibujos, impresión, tipo de papel, tamaño de letras,etc y a un precio muy interesante.

es interesante para conocer de donde vienen las muñecas , crea una fantasía en los niños , lo malo es que viene en inglés , aunque no es dificil de entender
