Bought these for 4 month old puppy who is highly intelligent and easily bored, hence chewing things she shouldn't. The lick mats have added an extra component to her training and she enjoys using them. I have used peanut butter on them and it keeps her busy for the perfect amount of time, and distracts her from other naughty activity. Coupled with an intermediate "treat puzzle" and this is working perfectly to "bust the boredom." Easy to throw in the dishwasher for cleaning, or the fridge to make it cool before she uses it. Great lick mat to keep your dog busy! Good price and came with two in a package, also love that it is dishwasher safe. However, if you use peanut butter in the section with small crevices it is very hard to clean out if your dog doesn’t get it all

2024 UPDATE: Updating to 5 stars because my dog and I love these things. I think it seemed like the suction was gone at first because if you freeze the pad and it freezes in a weird shape the suction isn’t great. But freeze it completely flat and no problem. You don’t even have to freeze the treats on the pad, it just makes for a longer licky-session for the dog. I love that this comes with two pads, each has 4 different textures, comes with a spatula/scraper, and is so easy to clean. I usually hand wash but have put them in the dishwasher. My dog gets very excited when he hears “licky-pad time”! I usually put a couple treat types on at once and freeze. After trial and error, we’ve landed at our favorites being beef or turkey baby food and spray cheese (I tried the Kong cheese at first but it’s expensive, and figured he’s getting so little of the cheese it doesn’t matter if it’s the cheap grocery store kind). Canned pumpkin also worked but he wasn’t as gung-ho for it. Just rinse it off when done to get the “chunks” out, then run over the pad with some dish soap and dish brush. 2 minutes max. Let the dog lick the scraper clean before washing it. If I don’t feel like washing it I rinse and put in the dishwasher, and use the second pad. The suction stays strong. It really sucks to my sink bottom when I’m washing it!2023: Really liked the product at first. Dog likes it, easy to use and clean. But after just a few uses and hand washing the suction cups didn’t work any more so now when he tries to lick the mat it slides all over the floor.

Cat cannot lick food out of the texture. Not only does it slow him down, he gives up and goes without food. It is beautiful and is very durable. The suction is great. If could have thought of a clever use for it in the kitchen I would have kept it. Maybe to press a top crust for pie or cookies? I wonder if it would hold up to oven heat? Silicone?

I purchased the small pair for my 11 pound Havanese. At the same time I bought some baby food (organic potatoes, Turkey & green beans @ 40 calories per 3.5 oz container) Spread on both mats and put in the freezer with a small piece of home made chicken jerky frozen on each of the 4 sections. Worked so well I was able to leave for an hour ...came back and she was still licking away! I then ordered 2 more since one baby food container is good for 4 mats. I will keep them stored in the freezer and use when needed!!! Convenient that they also include a small spatula to spread. Great fun for my dog...love this!!

My dogs get very excited when I start spreading on the treat. So far have used peanut butter and yogurt. Yogurt very easy to spread and to clean up afterwards. Peanut butter was a little work to spread and more work to clean than the yogurt. I assume if you have a dishwasher, the cleaning is much easier. Overall, my girls love this.

Bought these because my dogs bother me throughout the night for treats… like ALL night. I figured they were bored so I bought these to try. My dogs jumped on them so quickly, as soon as I put the down. They’re really great. They keep the dogs busy for a good 20-30 minutes and I just stuck it to the ground and left it there and they kept going back. The suction cups work really well and they stick to about everything. They’re super easy to wash by hand but we also tried them in the dishwasher and they came out in perfect condition. The only thing I need now is more suggestions on what else I can spread on it, other than PB. Worth the money, highly recommend!

Good quality product. My shih tzu loves it for snacks and even meals at times. Only thing is that I ordered a different color and got 2 orange ones.

Liked these at first but now they won't stick to glass anymore so are useless. Have used them only a handful of times.

Easy to wash in dishwasher and sticks to wall when puppy in licking (great for distraction)

Our dog is a nervous licker so this is great for helping her de-stress and calm down. She normally licks at her paws when she is anxious but this kept her distracted and she took a nap after each use. Only critique is the small rubber spatula broke after one use. The metal inside poked right through the silicone. But I didn't buy it for that and honestly didn't realize it came with the mats when I ordered so it's not an issue for me. The mats are great and 100% recommended it to my parents and several friends already.
