I don't really need to turn it on and off and control it from anywhere in the house, just from the other side of the room, so having a remote control is a pretty handy feature, and it's magnetic so I can stick it on the coffee table legs to keep it nearby.It's not as bright as my old halogen lamp which it's replacing, but it's bright enough. And being able to change the colour temperature is nice so that I can switch between a bright light for reading to a warm light for relaxing. This works on the main light as well as the reading light.The build quality is quite good and it feels very sturdy when it's all screwed together, and the base is wide and heavy enough that it doesn't wobble around when you move the reading light or use the touch controls on the stem.Overall I'm very happy with this lamp and it looks nice in the corner by the sofa. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Quality. *by M***N on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 14 October 2021* This floor lamp was very easy to assemble, only took about 10 minutes, just need to be careful not to twist the wires inside the pole sections as you screw them together.
