A: We must say No. You will experience some water ingress from the top if you ride or run for hours in the rain with normal waterproof socks. We recommend you choose our patented DEXLOK socks if you need to cross creeks.

**Q: How breathable are your waterproof socks? - 70% breathable!**
A: The highly breathable PORELLE membrane in our waterproof socks features a Water Vapor Permeability (WVP) index of 15,000 g/m2.day ASTM E96:95, which can be translated as 70% sweat moisture permeable. You can wear them all day long in FW season.

**Q: Why is it better to choose a size up for waterproof socks?**
A: Due to waterproof fabric property, please refer to Fitting Reference for each style of our waterproof socks recommended in our Comparison Chart below. No matter if you are at the upper edge of a size or if have wide feet, you MUST choose a SIZE UP.

**Q: Are waterproof socks easy to care for and clean? - Yes**
A: They are machine washable with a tumble dry low setting. You can use any common detergent available in the supermarket. But please DO NOT DRY ON ANY DIRECT HEAT such as a radiator or fireplace, which will cause de-lamination of the composite fabrics!

Used these several times in atrocious conditions under a pair of Altberg leather boots. After 8 hours walking in ankle deep mud, long wet grass and deep puddles my boots do let water in, albeit not much. Using these socks has kept my feet totally dry.Slight negative, they could do to be a bit longer and they are very warm. This will be great in winter but in milder weather my feet were hot.Would recommend.
