Bormioli Rocco Pegaso Cooler Glass, Set of 4

These are pretty cool glasses but I was going to give this as a gift at a house warming party I'm attending this weekend but now I cant gift these. 3 sets isnt bad but I dont want to give an incomplete box. Even though the glasses are cool, it's not handle with care, could use better packaging nor did it say fragile on the box so I wouldnt recommend purchasing these. I went to my local marshalls where they also sell bormioli rocco glasses for less but this set wasnt there but I settled for something else. Bummer!

I got them and I could tell without opening that they were completely shattered to bits. Returned item promptly. I would have probably loved them if I could have used them.

This glassware is fantastic. My husband has commented on how much he likes these glasses, so that has to mean something!PROS - Very nice, simple style that complements any dinnerware. Comfortable to hold without being too heavy. Weighted bottoms secure the glass from toppling over. The glass do not feel too flimsy, however...CONS - ... I do handle these glasses more carefully because they are thin (in comparison to a Mason jar) and I worry about breaking them. The main drawback comes from the shipping process: I ordered two sets (for a total of 8 glasses) and 3 out of 8 arrived broken due to poor packaging. Each box of 4 glasses was wrapped and padded within a larger shipping box, but the problem came from the inside; there was no padding to keep the glasses from crashing into each other inside their boxes, so they broke each other during shipping. Amazon customer service handled the issue by refunding the cost of each broken glass, after which I ordered an additional box. Again, poor packaging took its toll. I did end up with 8 glasses in the end, but it was a bit of a headache to have to request multiple refunds and re-order something that should only require a couple of clicks to be done with it all.All the glassware and dinnerware I have ordered from Amazon has included broken pieces, so if you decide to order any from this site, just be prepared for the possibility of having to deal with refunds and re-orders. These Bormioli Rocco Pegaso glasses are available at a popular 'bullseye' store, so you might want to check there first if you want to skip the risks of shipping. ;)Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase and intend to buy one more set of these to cover future broken glasses, as they are the perfect glassware.

These glasses are cool looking and really awesome, but they break easily. The first set I got came shattered and I had to send them back. One of the glasses in the second set broke within a month.

The curve on these glasses is gentle. The glasses are easy to hold and pleasing yet simple on the table. I ordered several sets from Amazon and 1 out of 4 arrived broken. UGH! I gave up. Then, as I was ordering some other small items, I decided to try one more time. Bingo! Perhaps adding extra items to the box increased the padding just enough to protect the glasses in transit or maybe I just go lucky but I am delighted!
