Although, I wasn’t a fan of Chia seeds I do like Flax seeds but, because of the health values in both seeds I decided to give this a try. Purchased my 1st pkg of Flax & Chia blend 2mons ago and I’m now on my 4th pkg. Love this blend, who would have thought. Bought one for my daughter who’s lives in Cali, and a die hard Vegan. Thinking she too will Love this blend. Well, she laughed and said mom I’ve been a FAN of Flax & Chia blend for yrs. Well, should’ve known better lol, vegans always look for high protein ingredients and foods to substitute for meat. Now I have it shipped twice a mon. Although, I’m not a vegan/vegetarian, sure n r a child (by choice) have always avoided red meat as much as possible. I May have a steak and/or ground meat once a yr, the rest comes from fish, chicken, tofu and beans. The OVER consumption of red meat in the USA is horrible and disturbing. In case ppl don’t know or think about it. Ppl need and should know. The facts are, it takes thousands of sltrd “cows” a week just satisfy the increasing demand of red meat and so much of it is wasted and thrown away. That’s so very sickening and sad. So, if you can stick to other ways of consuming protein pls try it. It’s a great source of protein, healthier and less chances of finding something strange in your meat. Here’s one of the ways I use this blend: fill a bowl with your favorite frozen veggies and edamame, microwave to al dente, sprinkle 3 scoops of flax and chia blend and add a variety of seeds. OMG, this is amazingly delicious!l My husband has never been a big veggie eater yet now, he’s wanting it every night for dinner alone (like me) with flax/chia blend and he’s now a happy camper.
