It has instructions for making your own with various materials options. Most of what's in there is the author's personal experience. Info on suitable pot sizes and food safety (which is important due to risk of botulism in warm, contained food). The recipes are simple and cover well known dishes. Not a thick book. Lower quality paper and cover. But it contains what it says it contains.
