My delta 600 faucet in my shower has been dripping for years. Recently it became a steady drip that was really annoying. Replaced the springs and cups from watching a YouTube video and no more dripping!

Fixed my leaking bathroom Moen sink in 5 minutes. I saw a video online as to how to replace the seat springs, and there it was. Simple fix. I am not very handy at all, and managed to do this regardless like an absolute pro. Saved me at least $150 on a plumber visit + a cost of a new faucet, which is what I was initially going to do.

I bought them but did not use them. They did not work for me. I ended up buying a new cartridge.

My search for Delta RP4993 replacement seats & springs found these. The pros: + Okay customer product reviews, low cost + free Amazon shipping when I bought 2 packs of these. + Fits both our bathroom & kitchen Delta faucets. + Fairly easy to install. The cons: - The one we installed in the bathroom failed... faucet was dripping again, in less than 4 days! ◄ Picture attached of how the rubber seat looked when we removed it! - Poor, malformed rubber seats! - The springs are NOT ground flat, on the ends, as are the Delta factory/OEM springs. ◄ Picture attached to show the difference! Closing remarks: ▪ Overall, the quality of these seats & springs are poor! I suspect I'll have to replace all of them in short time! ▪ If you have to use these, you might consider reusing the existing spring, especially if the existing springs are ground flat on the ends! Updates: ► 02-07-23 - This morning my son says the main bathroom faucet is leaking again! ► 02-22-23 - Today we're "again" replaced the seals & springs with better quality, a different brand! see the attached picture to see how the previously installed new seals looked when they were removed. Unbelievable!

This installed fine and seem to work okay, but after the sink is unused for a while, it sticks pretty strong on the initial turn. Then it slides nicely until you let it sit for several hours. I even used a generous amount of plumbing grease every time I opened it up. Twice it rolled the gasket and started leaking badly. So, I replaced that gasket with another one and so far it is still sticking but hasn't leaked yet. I'm hoping it will stop sticking eventually and be fine, but we will see. I've replaced these many times in the past and never had it act like this, so I'm not sure what's different.
