If you're not getting a 120x120, I wouldn't worry so much about the size and weight though. The ties are sewn securely and I have not had any stitching come loose at all even with how big it is and pulling the duvet cover around on the bed. It is a soft cotton cover but because it's cotton it does have a bit of noise when moving around. It is not really loud to me, it's actually comforting for me. But if you're concerned about any sounds, it's not microfiber so there will be a little noise while moving around. I paired it with the Bedsure duvet which I love. I don't hear the crinkle sound. I normally have 4 comforters on my bed in the winter and 3 the rest of the year. I paired this with a Pure Beech bedspread that's of nice weight. My husband and I were warm and comfortable all night. I also purchased Bedsure sheets. I slept 10.5 hours!
