Writing on cookies? Buy this NOW!!
I loooooove this tip. I will buy MORE! I already have 6 of the 1.5 tips. All PME tips are worth every penny. Sure, you can buy the “other” brand for a a little less money per tip BUT the little extra money is beyond worth it for PME tips. The size of the hole on each tip is totally consistent on PME tips. Other brand tips can have differing sized holes and Facebook even rust! Not PME tips. The quality is the best I’ve ever used in any tip. The 1.5 tip size is my first (and pretty much ONLY) choice when writing on cookies with icing. The icing flows beautifully out of this tip. So easy to use and get great results. I have many other PME tips for cookie decorating. I always find myself looking for the 1.5 perfect size tip! I am slowing getting rid of all my other brand tips. PME has a HUGE variety of tips for all your needs. Each size tip is explained in their descriptions.

Excellent all around writing and detail tip!
I have found a passion for making royal icing decorated coolies. I've made quite a few batches (it's rather addicting to make these cute little treats). Thin lines and lettering have always been my biggest struggle. I read a blog that recommended PME tips, so I decided to give them a try. I'm so glad I did!!! They blow my Wilton tips out of the water. The line these produce is so much thinner and more consistent than Wilton. It holds it's shape so much better. I'm posting a few pictures of the same icing coming out of a variety of PME and Wilton tips. The difference is huge. I hear it's because these are seamless. I don't know. It perplexes me as to why these would be that much better, but they are. My lines come out smooth and consistent. These are also a smidge longer than Wilton. I ended up buying these in 1 and 1.5 and I like them both. The 1.5 is a good all around tip for everything other than outlining and flooding. I choose it first for any detail work. The #1 is great to. I just have to make sure my icing is a perfect consistency for it and it requires a little more patience to get it just right.Overall, I have one of these tips now, but will definitely buying a couple more for backup and so I don't have to take them off and wash them mid decorating to switch colors. Definitely a 5 star product and worth it for anyone from a casual decorator to a seasoned pro.

PME makes the best piping tips
I love these PME tips, and the 1.5 is my go to size for outlining my royal icing cookies before flooding.

You will LOVE this!
At first I thought it was an over exaggeration on how well these tips were. I live in a small town where the only available cooking and baking supplies is a local wal-mart where I have bought several round tips for decorating cookies. Those tips were good for me to start off and after making a few several dozen decorated sugar cookies, I wanted to invest in some tips that were more professional and this is IT! I bought one ( the PME 1.5 round tip) and used it for outlining and this is a superior tip. I feel like my icing pipes better through this tip than any of my other tips. I have placed another order for more sizes. From a beginner designer, I feel like I noticed a difference and I hope whoever buys this, has the same experience!

The best brand piping tip
I bake for family as a hobby. As I’ve learned to decorate with royal icing the PME tips have been a game changer. No seam to create weird lines. My lines are much better than with a tipless bag or other brands of tips. Highly recommend!

Worth the Price
If you are wondering if the PME tubes are worth 4.50, the short answer is YES.Now, for a longer answer: They come in smaller sizes than Wilton or Ateco, which is great if you are looking to do fine details. Worried about the tips clogging? Do a quick search on the internet and wonderful decorators out there have found a way to solve that for you. Why PME is worth it? There is something absolutely magical about the way they work. Writing comes out cleaner and sharper, lines form more smoothly, and the overall feel is just better. There is a woman out there who compared her Wilton #2 tip to her PME #2 tip for writing and the difference is astounding. Now as for the 1.5, it is a fantastic size. It is my go to size for so many things. I can probably get by with one or two size 0 and 1 tips... but the 1.5... I want about 5 of them.

Worth the Extra Money for Some
While my Wiltons can't touch the quality, or reliability of my Supatubes, I find that for anything but extreme detail or elaborate designs, the Wiltons will do fine. If you're a wet on wet person, you probably won't find the extra money for Supatubes worth it.That being said, PME Supatubes will spoil you a little if you are a cookie decorator! Less kinky icing, smoother application, finer detail: all are possible with the help of a Supatube. So, if you're a casual decorator, probably not worth it, but if you're serious, definitely treat yourself to a couple of PME Supatubes!
