Dear ZK: I am not sure your question pertains to exactly what this board is and is not. What this board does, is to accept the input of a m-Sata (physical format) - Solid State Drive - and allow it to be mounted and read from a USB port on another device. So, if you had the current version of Raspberry PI O.S. (Bulls Eye?) installed on a m-Sata solid state disk and wish to boot your PI from the USB port, then this is possible. There is no version of this board that is, so to speak, "made for " the Raspberry PI. It is through standard interfaces and interface communication protocols that allow different devices to hook-up and effectively communicate. Hope this helps!

Funciona perfectamente

Me sirvió para reparar una instalación windows como disco externo. El disco es un SSD mSATA de una Lenovo T430. Tenga cuidado que no es para los más modernos nvme o pcie. No trae carcasa, el disco queda al aire libre, solo para uso puntual. Trae los tornillos que luego los SSD no traen. UPDATE: Mi circuito es diferente a las fotos de 2021. No falta nada y es un chip diferente. ASMEDIA ASM225CM. Todo sigue bien.

Not for m.2 drives. Allowed me to install my mSATA drive from my laptop that refused to boot and get my files off the drive. Thanks Windows update for bricking the boot manager on my drive. Easy to use, affordable and very convenient.
