A Great Piano Book for Young Beginners!

Good Songbook (emphasis on songs)
I bought two of these books to teach piano to two young children, ages five and seven. I like that it has children's songs that they are likely familiar with, because that helps with playing. Only perhaps it would have been better to start with a book that included exercises to form technique and sheet music reading, as this doesn't have any. Overall, it's a fine children's beginners book for songs. You would just have to supplement lessons with exercises.

Easy product to read and understand for a child
Bought this for my granddaughter along with her piano she loves it. She’s out to learn some songs and it helped her actually learn how to play her own songs.

A Perfect Book!
This book was perfect for my 9 year-old daughter. My daughter started lessons 2 years ago, but then the pandemic hit and we stopped the lessons. During the pandemic, my daughter has not played piano at all. She lost interest due to the break. But, then I got her this book and with encouragement, she tried this book...and it turns out that she loved it! The beginner level songs were perfect for her. And there were so many songs for her to choose from. Many of them were very familiar as they were nursery rhymes that my daughter grew up with. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants an easy to follow beginner piano book.

It’s ok
For someone that has not clue about music, it’s ok to learn something, but mostly music are incomplete and some of them sounds completely wrong when use their sheets, for a very little kid learning may work

It stays easy throughout!
As a grade school teacher, what I like about this book is its slow pace. It starts easy, and doesn't suddenly jump to difficult. There's plenty to practice at the beginner learning level. I also like the large, simple black and white font. There are no pictures to distract and compete for attention. Just the notes. The mp3 recordings are also very useful, realistically approximating what a beginner might be expected to play. One suggestion, it would be good to have a slight intro or quiet space before the music starts.

Excellent Book for Young Learner
This is truly an awesome book, specially designed with little learners in mind. The content is thoughtfully structured for kids, making learning both enjoyable and stress-free. It includes 55 songs in total, which is impressive and offers great variety for beginners. What I really appreciate is how many famous classical pieces are included in very easy and child-friendly transcriptions. This makes it much easier for kids to understand, practice, and gain confidence while playing. Classics like Ode to Joy, Swan Lake, Clair de Lune, Greensleeves, Amazing Grace, Oh My Darling Clementine, Scarborough Fair, Für Elise, and Turkish March are beautifully simplified without losing their charm. Simple and easy to understand!
My 9 year old daughter with a short attention span has been playing piano for a few years but doesn’t like practicing because she wants to PLAY songs instead of just doing drills. She has enjoyed this book, and the sheet music is simple enough for her to figure out on her own.
