Q: Can this be used on the flat side also or do the non skid feet interfere?

I do use the flat side some the feet bother me some but really not to bad

No. Comes with a postcard sized example of ideas. Youtube is full of free videos for 1/2 yoga balls aka bosu. There are also free apps on google play and apple app store. It's a great tool for proprioception and fitness.

Q: Anyone else have an issue with the ball staying inflated?

Yes! I had trouble getting it inflated in the first place. Then once it was inflated it wouldn’t stay. I actually sent mine back.

Q: Can you jump on it and do a squat? It looks smaller than the bosu ball at my gym.

It is the same size as the bosu ball at my gym. And like the ball at my gym- unless you have gymnastic experience or experience using it- jumping on it might cause you to fall off. I have had the joy of being off balance, off angle, and reaching enlightenment about my core strength needing more work.
