How is this different than the older techron "fuel system cleaner," that also is supposed to clean injectors?

pro guard is not as concentrated as the full strenth black bottle that i have used for years at my repair, with the new fuel injection systems that have come out the last few years,They have carbon built up problems on the valves.I would only use the full strench in my cars every oil services

Hi Douglas, Do you own a garage/work as a mechanic? Mechanics love this stuff, in particular, as I—not a mechanic but have had great ones—have been recommended this, by six or seven mechanics. I have to move a lot, in my profession, and love to keep up my 1986 MR2 MK1, for which this always does a great job, straightening it out... Anywho, if you’re a mechanic, or otherwise, could you please tell me your reason for suggesting adding it, half a tank at time? I always like hearing different opinions, like that, and so I guess I’m wondering if it’s a result of some system of testing the additive timing you suggest, for this. Any help would be greatly appreciated — and don’t worry about quickness... (... I last bought this, for $5, with Prime shipping, and right now, single packs are going for $15! Although six-packs are much better—at the regular $30, or $5 apiece—but there’s a **1-2 MONTH shipping wait,** on Feb 8... Glad I got mine, on Feb 7th... This is nuts, at $15/piece, or a 1.5-month wait!!!)
