Both my daughter and son have a chrome book each for their school work - for about an year now. It’s reliable and works like a charm! Touch screen, long battery life and the flexibility of 2-in-1 makes it special! Great price for this combo of features - for education purposes. Got a 3rd one recently.

I don't do anything like video editing or graphic design so I'm unsure if it's suitable for those kinds of things. (I doubt it though) But if you need just a basic but reliable computer to do things like web surf and YouTube then this is the perfect one to choose. I'm glad I chose this vs. the $2000 fold out phone I was going to get. I've had it about 3 months and haven't really found anything I don't like about it. The battery life is very impressive, also.

Loving my new touch screen computer. Has great battery life. Screen resolution is not that good. But for what I’m using it for it suffices. Amazon recent removal of a social media platform that promoted Freedom of Speech more closely-aligned with the inherent rights recognized in the US Constitution and the Bill of Rights. Because of this poor executive decision, I will no longer be shopping on Amazon or utilizing any of their subscription services. Please politely let Amazon know that you disagree with their decision, and also consider suspending your monetary activities until Amazon changes its policies to promote and protect new digital avenues that seek to honor the inherent rights of Free Speech protected in the US Constitution. **Pros:** - Touch screen - Convertible design for tablet mode - Comfortable keyboard - Easy-to-use as a Chromebook **Cons:** - A bit slow - Shuts down when flipped into tablet mode and turned horizontally. Despite troubleshooting, the issue persists and appears to be a hardware problem. Now, I need to contact HP or Amazon for support. **Summary:** If it worked as expected, this would be a great little computer.

I bought this used in very good condition for $98.50. It was a great buy. It looks brand new. No scratches, no fingerprints. Works great. I bought it to use as a tablet and I am very happy with this purchase.

I got this hp chrome book by accident! I was trying to get a windows os, but after using this for a while I couldn’t return it. The touch screen and flip function totally reeled me in. It charges relatively fast and good on battery. The screen quality could be better though because at certain light intensities you can’t see what’s on the screen.

This was a good chromebook and I love the touch screen. I didn't think to check if it has a vent or any way to manage heat since chromebooks generally run pretty cool. This one runs hot and reminds me of some of the things I hate about microsoft. Task manager will show an overwhelming number of processes running, it gets hot and there is no fan or way for the heat to vent out. It runs a snails pace, including powering up. It gradually went from the typical quick start up but has deteriorated over the last six months. The left back will get so hot it burns my legs and then I have to shut it down. After 16 months the battery will only hold about a three hour charge. Replacement batteries are expensive and I resent having to hire "Geek Squad" just to consult with HP on the problem. I don't think Chromebooks are HP's best product. Chromebooks have been durable and reliable. I've bought several for a small business and personal use over the years. Acer, Asus and Lenovo are brands that have been fine. $300 down the drain because I splurged on some bells and whistles on this one. The only reason I replaced my old one was the EOL update problem.

My last one was broken, due to me. This new one picked up right where I left off.
