Excellent pan
This is my second pan. The first had a decent run, maybe 4 years or so. It would have made it longer but I dropped it and the handle shattered off. It was starting to have scratches, so you do have to be sure to wash it gently. The nonstick factor and ease of cleaning are exceptional. Highly recommend.

NOT MADE IN GERMANY!
The main reason I picked this pan was that it was not made in China. I was very surprised that the box said MADE IN CHINA. I did not return it but will never buy another pan from this company even though it is an adequant pan. Also be sure you have a screwdriver because the handle is not attached

Elegant and Functional!
Well built! Not a cheap non stick coating. I was a chef for 12 years and I really like this pan. It's beautiful, elegant and functional for daily use. I really like the design and to be honest that is what attracted me to it.But after I opened the box, I felt that it had weight, which is a positive for proper heat dispersal. The handle felt nice and balanced in my hand. Beautiful, real wood handle! I would recommend non-metal spatula or other cooking utensil for this pan as deep gouges will shorten the pan's lifespan. But I use it daily and for the last month and it showing no signs of wear (except where I had used a metal spatula once) Lesson learned.

An Excellent Pan
This is one of the best pans I've purchased to date. It lasted a very long time (a year or two?) of light use, and the only real issue we saw is that the handle was clearly not made to withstand the heat. There was no issue with holding the pan, but after the first few uses it created a bad smell and it discolored as the faux wood finish started to burn. That said, after a week or so the smell went away, and aside from the discolored appearance it remained a really solid pan for a very long time!

Professional grade
This is a professional grade product not suited for users who refuse to take the time to properly clean. This products coatings require wiping clean following use followed by applying a thin coating of oil (olive works for me). This pan heats evenly and quickly. I NEVER allow other items to be in sink with these items — professional use and users only. If you are unprepared to properly use this item, spend your money on Blue Diamond or other items of lesser quality.Have purchased four of the the brands pans and LOVE all. DO NOT OVERHEAT!

NOT made in Germany!
I love these ceramic types of frying pans because nothing sticks to them, and wanted the German pan, which is what was advertised. What I received was a nice enough pan but the box clearly states, made in China. I was going to give a Waxon pan to my Mother-in-Law but seeing that this was made in China, I kept it for myself and found her a better pan. These pans aren’t exactly cheap, so I have to say that while the pan is nice, it’s not THE pan that I wanted to buy her.

Alas the search continues...
As much as I love the design, feel and even cooking surfaces of these pans, there are some problems and one major one. The handles need to be constantly tightened back down after minimal use and the non-stick coatings even though work very well are not robust enough and are easily damaged. Now, here is the big issue. The alloy used to make these pans does give an evenly heated cooking surface BUT it has a nasty reaction to water and detergents, it will blacken with a carbon like substance that will heavily stain anything the pan sits on. The blackening will happen after sitting in a sink but is most prevalent after a dishwasher cleaning, even though they are advertised as dishwasher safe.I have searched long and hard for quality robust cookware and I truly thought I had found it with these pans. I love the design and feel but the blackening issue is forcing me to continue my search. My advise, keep looking….

Egg and cheese come off!!
I was really impressed with this pan after my Mom got one. I had to get one for myself. We cooked grilled cheese in it one day and some of the cheese burned a little and it came right off! Egg was not a problem either! Plus, there aren't any worries about chemicals getting in your food with the stone cook surface. Keep in mind that this pan requires you to use medium heat. I recommend it!
