**Q: Replacement filter**
A: A small compatible one from Pet Smart

**Q: Can I put a newt in this?**
A: Yes you can. I did

**Q: How can I buy more filter cartridges?**
A: I ended up finding a compatible one for the pump at Pet Smart.  I then had to buy a new pump because the one that came with the kit stopped working.

**Q: So the filter that comes with it's so it can keep the water clean? So won't have to change the water often?**
A: You will need to change it every week or two, depending on how often your pet uses the bathroom or how quickly it eats the food.  I found that these are the two biggest issues.  I still changed the water every week and cleaned the pump and checked the filter.
