MiiR Tumbler, 12oz Insulated Stainless Steel with Press Fit Slide Lid – Splash Proof Design, Holds Hot & Cold Beverages, Stylish & Functional Cup Holder Compatible

I love this mug. It's insulated, but it's fairly thin insulation. This keeps it from being too bulky, but it still manages to keep my coffee hot enough- I don't need my coffee to be scalding hot though. It's stainless steel inside so it's easy to clean but there's a coating on the outside so it doesn't feel like drinking out of a metal mug (I don't like drinking from metal mugs). It also feels very nice in the hand and doesn't get too hot on the outside. I had a previous version of this mug that didn't have the close-able cover on the lid, and if I took it in my car when full, some coffee would splash out. The addition of the sliding cover fixes this issue, and is the main reason I replaced my old one. If you tip it over, coffee will slowly leak out but if you stand it back up quickly enough you might not have any spill out. The lid doesn't screw on so it's just a gasket/friction fit but it's quite secure. I don't think it will come off accidentally, unless you do something extremely violent like dropping on the floor. There's very few parts and pieces so it's relatively easy to clean.

Love this tumbler. Bought it specifically for my daily coffee. It has held up great. The temp stays as it should, it is not dishwasher safe must wash by hand but a quick rinse usually gets the job done. Durable, I've dropped it twice and only a small ding on it.

Simple tumbler w/o gimmick. The lid is very easy to clean. Does keep the drink warm long enough for a day's work.

Similar to what others have written, I like the tumbler itself both in terms of material and shape (fits in my small-ish cupholders, but not overly top heavy), however the lid is definitely wonky. When fully closed it's less "sealed" and more "sippy cup" as I can still drink out of it. Not a big problem for me as it just needs to manage a 15-ish minute car ride to work, but I think the "splash proof" description, as opposed to spill-proof, is definitely deliberate. If you think it's going to be shaken around a fair amount, I'd probably go with a thermos. EDIT: Knocked this down to 3 stars because now when closed the rear of the sliding latch is also starting to leak, and even some slight jostling while carrying it into work caused it to splash a little. I'm going to submit a warranty claim and will update when/if I get a replacement. EDIT 2: Whelp, to their credit, got my replacement quickly, and after a couple of weeks while it's still not great it's at least not leaking so back to 4.

This is my first MiiR purchase. Love it!!! Perfect size and keeps coffee hot for hour++. Love the splash guard on lid and the cup just looks good!! Plan to purchase another soon. I have some larger Yeti tumblers but this 12oz size is just perfect! Highly recommend.

Best money spent on a coffee cup. Keeps coffee hot for hours, which is great for me because I can’t stand drinking coffee even at room temperature. Loved it so much I now have 5 cups.

My daughter, who did a 10 year stint in the coffee business, introduced me to this company. I love that they will take back damaged products and recycle revamp their products. Being a production potter for over 40 years I’m very attuned to handles, balance, color etc, Miir’s coffee mugs are my favorite for balance, weight, handle shape, (slight ding on paint adhesion on the camp coffee mug). Lid is easy to get on and off, but so far has stayed on when accidentally dropped. Leakage was minor (I think the lid was in the open mode)
