Kirkland Signature Kirkland Dry Roasted Macadamia Nuts with Sea Salt,680g (1.5lbs)

These are high quality and very nice. Could do with a little more salt

Got these because my favorite kind ( ordered over 14 times)went up 5 dollars with in a few months. I will buy this brand until my favorite brand goes down in price. These nuts were in date very fresh and very tasty. My 2nd favorite macadamia nuts brand so far.

I really don't know why there are negative reviews on these nuts. !. I don't care were they came from. 2. If they grew these nut out of a former landfill I would eat them 3. These nuts are better than any Cashew out there 4. The can is vacuum packed and every nut is whole. 5. Who Cares whether or not you get a few pieces they are still macadamia nuts. 6. Mona Loa is great but can you buy a can 1.5 lbs for 25 dollars? 7. These nuts are crunchy. When you put them in your mouth you get a grill like taste with buttery healthy oil flowing through your veins 8 I love cashews but when I discovered these ....Madonna.. Beautiful. 9. Everyone is different but if you like macadamia nuts. Kirkland nails it and that's the truth.

So...first of all, these are not MaunaLoa. BUT..they are the closest you will find, at a decent price...especially since the other brand raised prices by a TON. The canister I got was filled to the tip top. Almost all of the nuts are whole, and not pieces. These almost have the identical crunch that ML has. The flavor is also similar, with a very mild nutty, buttery flavor. The only difference is that the ML brands flavors are more intense. The saltiness was also very good. Not too little, not too much. As long as the price stays where its at, ( And as long as ML keeps their prices jacked up) I will continue to purchase these.

5th batch: While this batch was awesome as was my previous, I have had a batch here and there that were not as good (off-season?). My thoughts are that Kirkland may keep these on stock shelves longer than other companies? Regardless, this was another great batch both in size, coloring and taste. 6th Batch: While my 5th batch (above) was really good, my most recent was not so hot. The coloring was odd, especially in that they looked waxy. At first the flavor didn't seem too bad, but by the third time I ate them, they seemed to have an off-flavor. By the end, I was glad to be rid of them. Since, I've ordered MacFarms the last 2 times and have been pleased. That company has a more consistently good product and is my "go-to" macadamias. Only problem is that they have a couple of months where they don't seem to offer them, which is why Kirkland got in the picture in the first place.
