Only tights we buy
Just like all the other reviews, we used to buy the more expensive Capezio tights from a local dance supply store (At a mark up, I'm sure), but when our girls (who take dance 5 nights a week) started burning through the tights, we had to find an alternative. Found these tights on Amazon two years ago, and have ordered several pairs in pink and tan over the last two years. They are great material- my girls say they feel softer than the other tights they have worn, but yet they don't feel cheap or thin at all. Also, the waistband is not tight at all and that is a huge plus. You can't beat the price on these and with Amazon prime, I get them in 48 hours with free shipping, so saves me the gas to go buy more expensive tights locally!

Perfect for curvy dancers and those with SPD
My girls don't have the classic ballerina type of body you see on stage. And one of them has Sensory Processing Disorder. But they love to dance and I want to encourage that, however, finding comfortable tights has been challenging. I experimented with a variety of brands and bigger and bigger sizes so they wouldn't feel so squeezed in. These are perfect. They don't sag, yet the top piece of elastic isn't cutting. Now, I've since learned that some dancers cut the top elastic slightly so it's not as uncomfortable. That may make the Capezio tights and all the other ones I have far more comfortable for them. The tights feel soft and go on easily. These are a winner.

Wish I'd found these sooner!
I love these tights for everything from aerial performance to just wearing under a dress. They fit wonderfully and are the most comfortable tights I think I've worn. The color and opacity were just right for hiding aerial bruises on my legs while still seeming naturally bare. Note: If you are using these for trapeze or lyra performance and you tape your bar, the texture of these tights is a little grippy so you may find yourself clinging to the bar a bit. These are tough tights and don't snag or run as easily as most. I will definitely be ordering more when needed.

Great tights for the price!
These were an impulse buy as back-ups to keep in my dance bag, as they are available at a much lower price point than my usual blochs, Sanshas, and Capezios. I was super surprised by the high quality and durability - I still have all of the pairs I bought (over a year ago) and they are among my favorites for classes as they're super comfortable.Downsides: waist is a bit high and tight (I stretch my waists out over the back of a chair, so this is not a major issue for me - these hold up just fine with the stretching and it makes them much more comfortable). Openings at the foot are very, very small/tight. I have larger feet (8.5/9) for a dancer and I had to almost rip them to get my feet through the first few times. After a few wears, they stretched out a bit but are still a pretty tight squeeze.Well worth it for the money - I would recommend.

Best tights for class!
I first bought these with a full foot in pink. I wore them 4 days a week for 3 weeks, and no tears! However I needed a second pair of tights so I can wash them more often. So I bought these in Tan. First of all, the tan color is amazing! It isn't too brown, so it doesn't stand out too much from the other people in class, but the darker color is more flattering on me. The foot hole was a little small, but has since stretched out. I do have somewhat large feet. I am not plus size, but am chunkier than the average ballet student of my height. I am 5'4" and wear a size 10/12, and size Large or XL in Leotards. The M/L fits perfect! Not loose, but glides on easily without looking over stretched on my muscular thighs. Both pairs still have no runs after two months of wearing them in class. Just ordered another pair! The only reason I may buy another brand to have on hand, is because I prefer a shinier knit with more compression for looks, but would only be necessary during performance. The waist band never, and I mean NEVER slips. They always stay up, so don't become uncomfortable under my leos.

Too high and tight in the waist.
I have another pair of these tights in a size S/M (which I should fit according to the size chart: I'm 5'3 and 118lbs), but they are too tight in the waist. I suppose they fit, but it creates an unflattering pinch at the waist under the leotard. I ordered these in M/L and they are just as tight as the S/M I already had. It's possible that there was a little more room in the legs, I suppose the M/L pair looked a little more opaque through the thighs thanks to the extra material, but I really needed just a little less pinch in the waist. I ended up returning these. The quality is great for the price though. The original S/M pair that I bought is still in use and has not ripped or torn.

Pretty and soft
I got the pink. The color is a very light pink, maybe baby pink. They look a bit darker on, so I'm happy with the color. Fabric is medium thick, i doubt it will run easily. Very soft and comfortable to wear, not restrictive or contouring. If you're looking for something with compression (for varicose veins) or contouring (to slim the figure) these tights are NOT for you. But, if you want something to wear in the cooler (but not cold) weather or just to cover your legs then this product is perfect for you. The heal holes work for me, but i have pretty small feet (size 6 narrow) so if you're a 7 or up, or a wide , this hole may not line up for you. I'm very satisfied with this product.

Must have ballet transition tights
I bought this very soft pair of pink tights for my ballet classes because contrarily to many others they are made of twenty percent Lycra, not 10. The main component is Spandex also famous for its exceptional elasticity. However I like to be at my ease and opted for a M/L size. I am 5.6' and weight 121 and they fit perfectly. When ordering you have the option between girls and women from 7 to 14 YO and XS to L. Colors options are black-tan-pink. I love the fact they are convertible which means you can wear them in a classical way or pull them up to your ankles as they are two holes in the tights soles. It is always good to have also in one's ballet bag several pairs of tights as it is easy to ladder. To make your tights last for a while take care of your nails, but above all wash your thighs by hand in cold water and let them dry flat.
