PRO: Very soft, loved the sherpa cozy side. Heats well.CONS: Not much of a blanket as there are no heating coils on the top 9 inches of the blanket, 13" on the bottom and 12" on the sides. Sorry, but I like the heat on my shoulders and feet. You may want to buy a bigger size than you should need.

I'm always cold and sleep with electric blanket year round. What I really like is its lightweight and heats fast Most blankets I have to blast the highest number to get that heat like we use to get pre1980's. This blanket I put on 7 to pre-heat and then quickly turn down to 5 and 3 and set timer. The timer for auto shut off is a feature I use in the summer months. I have had tons of elec. blankets over the past 10 or so years and brands like sunbeam and BHG are the worst anymore.. I had to buy 2 sunbeams in one year.. Then I found Serta. I have split king adjustable bed. I buy the Twin and tuck edges under. I have noticed on edge of blanket have no heat coils. This does not bother me since my pets like to sleep on sides and I don't have to worry about cooking them.. But I'm very well heated under the blanket. Since I really do like this soft elect. blanket so much. I back to buy spare. I've had my current one around 1year, still no problems with it. I'm a real paying customer and was not paid or given anything free for my review! Just really like this blanket.

I used this electric blanket several times in one month since I purchased it. It lay flat on top of my bed. It did get warm the first couple of times, gradually getting less warm and then stopped working completely. I unplugged it after each use. Serta was a name brand I thought I could trust. Not any more. I cannot recommend this blanket which is Made in China. (CCC- Cheap Chinese Cr*p)

We are using the blanket on our king size bed. The blanket is a perfect weight and very warm. The problem is that the control cords are not long enough. We have to put the controls on the floor under the bed because the cords are not long enough to allow the controls to sit on the night stands or even the head board! When we called Serta, the customer service rep said that all the cords are the same length and we need to pull the blanket down. To make the cords long enough, we had to pull the blanket about half way down the bed😡. That didn’t work! We are using the blanket, but having the controls under the bed is a nuisance!

Quit working with 2 weeks. Was very soft. Really upset that it quit working because of how soft and comfortable it was

This blanket is soft, warms really nicely, and the controls are easy to use. The only problem is the wire from the controller to the bottom of the blanket is barely long enough to reach. I had to run the wires under the queen size mattress rather than under the bed so that they would fit.

When you lay the blanket out, the wiring comes exactly to the sides of the mattress. There is more blanket but thats as far as the wiring goes. Meaning that when two people get under it, it does not completely cover both.The controls require two plugs; and the heat resets to level one (1) every time it is turned off. On the other end of the scale, the timer resets to 8 hours every time. Very frustrating that it doesn't remember the previous setting!This was true for both Serta blankets we bought. They were different styles, so apparently its a design, not a bug.

This is the third blanket I have tried and the third times a charm for sure. It’s the perfect thickness, I love that it’s reversible but plan on using the Sherpa side. It actually heats up nice. Please remember it’s not supposed to be super hot. I bought a full for a twin size bed so that the heating could cover the whole bed. I’m very pleased with this blanket and would recommend it to anyone. I saw people complaining about the controller but I don’t have a problem with it. It sits on my nightstand.
