I’ve been using the Tefal Express Steam Iron, and I’m genuinely impressed with how well it performs. It has everything I need in a reliable steam iron, especially for everyday ironing tasks. What I love: • Powerful Steam Output: The 190 g/min steam boost tackles stubborn creases effortlessly, and the 45 g/min continuous steam is more than enough for regular fabrics. Clothes smooth out quickly with minimal effort. • Fast Heat-Up: With 2600W of power, it heats up in no time, which is great when you’re in a rush. • Smooth Glide: The Durilium Airglide soleplate really lives up to its name—it’s non-stick, glides smoothly, and doesn’t catch on fabric. • Decent Water Tank: The 270 ml tank holds enough water for a couple of full outfits without constant refilling. • Safety Features: The auto shut-off is a fantastic peace-of-mind feature—no more panicking if I forget to unplug it. • Comfortable Design: It feels well-balanced in the hand, and the blue and grey colour scheme looks modern and clean. What could be better: • The water tank isn’t transparent enough to easily see the water level while filling. • It doesn’t come with a storage pouch or cable wrap, so storing it neatly takes a bit of effort. Overall, the Tefal Express Steam Iron is a solid, high-performing iron that makes ironing less of a chore. It’s quick, effective, and feels like it’s built to last. Highly recommended if you want dependable performance without the fuss.

Good product, works well , good quality and good price

I was impressed by how quickly it heats up and how well the steam boost handles stubborn creases. The soleplate glides effortlessly across different fabrics, and the 270 ml tank lets me knock out a decent pile before needing a refill. The anti drip and auto shut off are welcome safety touches. My only gripe: on lower heat settings I noticed occasional dripping, and for marathon ironing sessions the weight becomes more noticeable. Still, for day to day use it’s a solid, well-balanced steam iron.

I ordered this iron as new as it was intended as a present, but I was not impressed to find it had been used with no attempt to hide the fact. The box had been opened and taped back up and iron had scuff marks on the metal, additionally the tank still contained left over water. I tried the iron out to see if it worked correctly to find on steam setting it spluttered out a considerable amount of white residue which was probably due to the fact the iron had been left with water inside which had caused limescale. The iron itself, once I had managed to clear the residue by numerous flushing, works well for the money with an easy glide base and good volume of steam. My only disappointment was that this iron was advertised as new so fell short of my expectations. There was the option to buy used irons which I did not want and indeed were cheaper. I do expect to receive the standard of good advertised and paid for so the three stars were awarded for service and the poor state of the iron rather than the performance of the iron.

Good value steam iron, not too heavy and a good manageable size. Heats up quickly and has a smooth, nonstick soleplate that glides easily over clothes. Clear controls with a see through tank that uses plain tap water with a steam, water spray and steam shot option to tackle stubborn creases. Small niggles are that there is no cable storage option or cable clip and the cable is quite short. As with most irons when you first start using them it does splutter and spit out little white bits but this does subside after using a couple of times.

With high expectations from multiple previous Tefal irons, this iron completely missed the mark. First time I tried to use it, there was so much scale in it that I have to hoover the floor after using the steam pump to make sure it was clear of scale before putting it to clothing. I kept trying the steam pump, but couldn't clear the scale. Water leaked literally all over the the ironing board cover as I moved the iron over the new cover to check if any scale was left during normal use. Sending it back without even ironing one item. The cord was soo short that I would need to use an extention lead. Utterly disappointing.
