Does wonders for cooking
Pros: - Does a wonderful job at clearing the air. My apartment does not have a range hood for evacuating cooking smoke, and would often create a haze in my apartment. This powerhouse will recognize the bad air quality quickly and scrub out all the smoke caused by cooking. I purchased a Dyson in parallel to see which I would rather keep, and the 250s actually kept purifying after the Dyson noted “good” air quality. I could tell there was still a bit of smoke and cooking odor, and couldn’t understand why the Dyson didn’t recognize what this unit did. - Great coverage for a unit this size. I previously looked at smaller units to tuck away out of sight, but would have needed 3-4 to cover the area this unit does. - The fan doesn’t have a buzzing of mechanical sound to it, more of a “whooshing” wind, so it’s not offensive when running. - Personally, I love the look of it. I had a Dyson purifier as well (returned it to keep this unit) and it didn’t blend into any design style; this one doesn’t draw attention to itself. - Love the AQI LED on top. Easy to understand: blue (good) fan level 1, green (moderate) and yellow (unhealthy) fan level 2, and red (very unhealthy) fan level 3. - Easy pre-filter cleaning and filter replacement from the hinging front. Cons: - Had a few days of an error with the app connecting (invalid MAC address), but eventually resolved itself (unit is still usable without the app) - App is somewhat less user friendly than say a dyson app - I don’t get any history of PM2.5 pollutants, but have it for PM10 - Fan speed on levels 2 and 3 can be noisy while trying to watch tv/movie or listening to music if the unit is close by (I would love if moderate air quality had a fan speed of 1.5) - No option to silence the chimes, which occur when you change settings on the device or when it moves into a new schedule block

Robust and well rounded air purifier.
I purchased this to replace my Winix air purifier I purchased in 2020. It was a new model when I purchased it but already has the filters discontinued. Instead of buying knock off filters I did my research on who makes air purifiers built to last. The popular Coway models have been around for 8+ years and they still sell them. I’ve been very pleased with this machine. What I like: The app! Some people report troubles connecting it to their home network. I’ve had no issues, I use Eero and it setup the first try flawlessly. Design: it’s much better to look at than any other air purifier I considered especially in its price range. Scheduler: I like that I can tell it to go to sleep at a set time every night and to turn the lights off. As well as when I’d like it to switch back to smart mode and put the lights back on. Very convenient. Filter and prefilter: the filters seem very durable and high quality. They are easy to change out too. I like the app has a life indicator on it too. The prefilter has a nice slide in mechanism and you can change how frequently you want to be reminded to clean it. What I don’t like: Noise: I read these are quieter than the older Coway models but it’s not dead silent. If on 2-3 it’s pretty loud but granted it’s pushing a lot of air. When the machine goes to sleep sometimes the slow rotation makes a buzz that’s louder than it running normally. Sleep light sensor: it’s really finicky. Not sure why but it’ll randomly sleep when the light hasn’t changed. Overall I’m happy to have switched to Coway. I’m happy I got the app enabled version. If you like scheduling it or just like to see what your air quality (pm 2.5 and 10) are. It’s also handy. I expect to have this machine for at least 5 years.

Works and Aesthetically pleasing!
Looks so good in our space. Is nice and quite, works with smart home for scheduling super easy and has noticeably made a difference with our dust. I rotate it around our 1200sqft apartment for maximum efficiency. Sensor light may be meh but the research I did told me that most are, doesn’t effect the quality of the filter 🙌

Disappointed.
I was excited to get this. I've done extensive research and this product was listed in the top three recommendations for air purifiers. For background, I have severe allergies to tree pollen, dust, pets, etc. I have a rabbit air purifier that will clean out a room of everything in just a few hours. I had a feral outdoor cat spraying my house and the smell was getting inside - even after clean up, the smell lingered. The rabbit was my saving grace and removed all that odor. It does an amazing job with pet dander and dust, too. It kept my allergies to a mininum. But because of the price, I couldn't afford a second one... But I really needed another air purifier for the front end of my house, as that would be my temporary bedroom while family stays with me, so I opted to buy this, while I kept the rabbit for my family. Well... I've had this product a month and it has done nothing to clean my air. My allergies have been the most severe its ever been. Only when I'm in the back with the rabbit, does it subside. This thing also alerts me every three days that the pre filter needs maintenance. When I remove it, there's very little junk present. Like why am I getting a maintenance when this thing is brand new?? However, my rabbit can be jammed pack with all the disgusting junk in its pre filter and still do a better job at cleaning my air. And oh, lemme tell you, when that cat comes around, this filter will do nothing with the odor. I specifically made sure to get a purifer with a carbon filter for this purpose. And whelp, I have to move my rabbit to the front room for a few hours to help out with the smell as this Conway can't do anything by itself. This product was such a waste of money! You get what you pay for... but for $350 I expected a little more. I even have some random off brand air purifiers I got off this site, that I put in closed off smaller rooms, and for under $50 they do a better job... I doubt I'm using this product wrong, so I wanna know where all these positive reviews are coming from. It must be from normal every day use and not for extreme situations like mine. Guess I better save up and upgrade.

Good purifier
Product seems to work pretty well cleaning the air. It's a little loud went it ramps up to it's highest setting. Connecting it to the app is hit and miss.

i have had these for almost a year
so heres the deal. these things work great. I am a smoker, and you literally cant tell by coming in my house. I tell people that I smoke in my house and they dont believe me. Camel Wides. These things are one of the best purchases I have made. they hook up to Alexa easily. their smart mode is great and there is even an option to turn the light off on the unit. they probably will work for 900 sq feet as advertised. I have two in my house of 1200 sq feet at other ends, but I think one would have been good enough. I strongly recommend you purchase these. the air is just so much cleaner. They have a prefilter that you can wash and you are supposed to do that like once a month and it takes like 10 seconds. the HEPA filter you are supposed to do once a year, but I have been thoroughly rinsing it and shoving it back in and letting it dry itself off and its been working fine doing that. though I am sure eventually I will shove my new filters in there, but hey if its still working great why not? I bought two of the 250S and I like the WIFI integration and the app is easy to use and helps you track how and when your air is going downhill.

Great air purifier, terrible app
Hate to leave three stars but the app is really bad. Signs out daily, took an hour of fussing to get the WiFi working initially. When unplugged, it forgets the WiFi and you have to set it up all over again. Would give Five stars if the UX wasn’t so terrible.

Favorite HEPA air filter
When the air quality is poor it sounds like a plane during take off, but it gets the job done quickly and the app gives me real time updates about the small (e.g. smoke) vs larger air particles (e.g. dust) needing to be filtered. I can turn off all of the lights while still using the filter overnight so it's not bright at all. Sleep mode is really quiet.

No Europe Plug
It doesn't come with a european power plug. Basically you will need to buy a converter from 110v to 220v just to turn it on. This version should not be on sale in Europe.

BEST FRIEND EVER
The best air purifier I ever own. It’s completely silent in the smart mode and the lights can all be turned off when sleeping. The APP is amazing!!! I don’t know why people complain about it, puzzles me. With the app, I’m able to control all the Coway air purifiers that I bought for my home. It gives me reports and charts to track air quality. I’m also notified of any abnormalities or drastic changes in the air. I can control my units in one screen, LOVE IT!!! The filters are pretty amazing! I noticed less dust around the house too. Also cleans out the air / smell from cooking. These units helped a lot during wildfires

Bruit
Au bout d’un an d’utilisation le produit fait un tic tic à basse vitesse. Très décevant pour un appareil qui coûte 700$
