I'm a man who LOVES this shampoo. Im in my mid 50s, I die my grey hair. This shampoo is super easy on my hair and scelp and does a great job. It's natural and it doesn't have a smell or sudz up. But hands down, this is the best shampoo ever. My hair color lasts longer and my scelp feels better when I use it. I'm only writing this review because I personally feel that this product is very under rated so I wanted to give them the 5 star review they deserve. I'm buying more today... and I've been using this now for about 3 years... Lovvvv it!

I finally acted on the realization that I shouldn't be putting cheap chemicals on my head... I was using fairly good products, but not organic. After searching quite a bit online, I was surprised that most of the products that say 'organic' still contained non-organics or chemical salts, or other toxic substances.... or if they were actually organic - they were ridiculously expensive. I finally found the shampoo and conditioner by Om Botanical, and I am amazed! What beautiful products!!! I wish that I would have found these years ago. No mainstream or name brand hair care products come close to even remotely comparing to the quality of OmB. One can instantly see, feel, and smell the purity and richness of the truly natural ingredients. The conditioner is so clean, that it is now my only moisturizer - hair, body, and even face. Opposite of almost every skin moisturizer that I've ever tried - it actually soaks into and nourishes the skin. Thank you so much Om Botanical!!!

So I got this shampoo and conditioner together in a set because they were the nicest looking organic ones I found. Gotta be honest the ingredients looked so exotic I hoped they would be miraculous. I have type 2c curly hair which tends to be oily. First off I couldn’t tell how much shampoo to use since it doesn’t lather, it took quite a bit to get my hair soft and non-oily when it dried. The conditioner was just meh, nothing good or bad about it. However both the shampoo and conditioner smell pretty musky, and this smell got stronger and overwhelming towards the bottom of the bottle. Also at the bottom of the bottle it started separate to where there were darker colored boogies that would come out. I threw away the last portion and won’t buy this again.

I’m on my 3rd bottle of this. It works well as long as you use it as the instructions say. There’s no lather so you have to get your hair really wet then apply it all over your scalp and let it sit there as long as possible. It’s time and not lather that cleans your hair with this shampoo. I believe that’s why some say they tried washing repeatedly and “didn’t work” because they didn’t let it sit on their scalp. My hair is bouncy and light after using it this way. I also condition my ends and mids first and leave that on while I apply the shampoo, that way I make sure no conditioner gets to my scalp and when I rinse the shampoo it washes the conditioner out too. I have to do it this way because I have waist length hair with dry ends but my scalp gets oily so I need both products to sit as long as possible while I tend to the rest of my body. If you’re looking for a truly natural shampoo, this is it.

Horrific odor. I've used various brands of sulfur fee, parafin free, no dyes, no perfurme shampoos. All have been brown and had a slight medicinal smell but this product is going down the drain. Six hours after use I still smell it. It cannot be covered with my Chanel No. 5 either!

Ok so idk if this is too early to write a review, but I just need to, because this shampoo made my hair come back to its original texture. I got it in the mail two days ago and instantly wanted to try it since I've been dealing with a lot of dandruff, and just wanted to clean my scalp. First of all it does not lather at all, but after rinsing I noticed my hair felt a lot more clean and not crazy soft, like the coconut shampoo I always use from ogx does. It felt very good on my scalp too. After air drying my hair I noticed how healthy and shiny my hair looked and how bouncy it had become. I have naturally a straight fine hair texture, but when it gets too dry it can look a little frizzy. I've struggled with that frizzy texture for years now, but somehow this shampoo made it disappear. It cleaned my hair with natural ingredients and seriously gave my hair the same flat non frizzy texture that I used to have in my teenage years. Also it cleaned out most of my dandruff, and I think on long term the shampoo will work really good on my sensitive scalp. I love it

I want to start off by saying that I never leave reviews and I'm about to review all of the Om products that I just bought! This shampoo is amazing!! I met the team at a fair in Denver and was impressed that their products are so natural you can eat them. Even so pure that there aren't any preservatives in them at all. I wasn't in the market for new products just yet because I had just purchased some hair/skin care stuff but I definitely made a note to buy these on amazon when the time was right and I'm SO glad that I did!!! I have tried a lot of different natural shampoos and none of them have really worked for me. Either they left my hair a greasy mess or basically weren't natural at all so there was no point to buying them. This shampoo is truly natural and TRULY WORKS!! I have a TON of hair. It's very thick and wavy. I was concerned it would end up greasy with no lather but the opposite is true. Just follow the directions and it works marvelously. I recently dyed my hair and it messed up the pH of my scalp so I've had to wash every day. I've noticed after using this I only have to wash every 2-3 days. Truly this company has me as customer for life!! I love it! If you want a truly natural shampoo this is the one!

I am trying to be more thoughtful about the amount of chemicals I expose my body to. I read about this product and ordered a bottle to give it a try. I am 40 yrs old. As I've aged, my hair has become dry and the quality of the hair seems thinner. After 3 uses, I noticed my hair laid easier, took longer to dry and felt almost silky to touch when dried. My stylist asked me if I started taking vitamins. She noticed it! (And no, I do not take vitamins.) Just keep in mind, this shampoo does not keep a lather the way grocery store shampoos do and when you rinse the shampoo out of your hair you will notice your hair is so clean that your fingers will almost get stuck in it while rinsing it out. I just ordered another bottle and plan to keep using this product. BTW, I do not use any conditioner or styling products in my hair.

I am so far very happy with this product. It has been helping my fiance reduce his use of anti-dandruff shampoo, and other harsh medicated shampoos as well.
