I spend a lot of time in my chair. 8 hour work days - then, several more hours at night working on audio production. I've bought several expensive office chairs over the years - but this is my favorite so far, without having to cough up a cool grand for a Herman Miller.My favorite feature is the flip-up arms. I can easily play guitar in this chair without having to perch on the edge and have the arms poking into the guitar.The arm rests are very hard (literally had bruised elbows after a couple weeks), so I purchased some foam pads that strap on.Great lumbar support, the headrest can be removed if you feel you don't need it (I rarely do). Love the tilt function! It was very easy to assemble in about 20 minutes. And it's reasonably lightweight if you need to carry it upstairs or something. The mesh seat and back are great for staying cool and your skin doesn't stick to it like faux leather. I've used this one for about a year now and the seat webbing is starting to sag a little, but I think I can get a couple more years out of it before replacing it.

Looking at the prices for high back, mesh back AND seat office chairs, I wasn't expecting much out of this Amazon Basics model given it is in the lower range. I was very surprised at how much I like it however. For the price, features, and build quality, I'm happy with this purchase!If it helps with your own comparison, when considering the pros and cons below, I am 5ft 10in/178cm tall and weigh 200 lbs/91 kgPros:- as comfortable as the expensive mesh office chair I had in my employer's office- very easy to assemble, took around 10 minutes. The box it came in is sturdy enough to act as a workbench during assembly- all adjustments are easy to get to while seated- though the included folding armrests are attached to the back, I noticed on the bottom of the seat there are some attachment points for armrests. I would guess you could find some that would attach there if you were happier with armrests attached to the seat instead.Cons:- as others have pointed out, there is only one tilt lock position - sitting straight up. When you disengage it to recline, there are no other locking positions to hold a recline position. That said, brand new you will find a tilt tension that will probably mitigate this. I expect this to get weaker over time though. I actually like rolling under my (high) desk and fully tilting back and staying that way, so it's not really a "con" for *me* - but I wanted to reiterate what others have said in case it is for anyone else- as with most office chairs, the included nylon wheels suck. I replaced them with flashy rubber light-up wheels I had on hand right away!Other notes:The armrests are attached to the back, which lets them move with it when you recline. I like this, but it is different than having them attached to the base. When you put your hands on them to get up or down, you put your weight on them, and they will move since the back moves a bit doing this. If you don't find this comfortable, there are attachment points on the bottom of the seat that would let you attach armrests to it instead, and those shouldn't move when weight is applied.I'm not sure what armrests would be compatible with those attachment points, but I think with a little research you could find some.

Overall I am very impressed coming from a faux leather/durabond chair. Much more comfortable and seems very well built. Weighs a good amount but assembly is super simple. Had my 9 year old assemble it and he was done pretty quickly. Included allen wrench isn't total garbage like usual. I like the features and really like that the arm rest fold up, this means I can park it under my desk and leave it when not in use. Back support is solid and very ergonomic yet comfy.Overall I got this on sale 50% off so I feel very good about the purchase, not sure I would pay normal price, but I also don't know what these sell for normally, this just popped up and I snagged one. Turns out I needed it and it's a vast improvement.

Quick review.Extremely easy to assemble, a young child could do it. I think there were 7 screws in total, all easy to put in. I had a mesh chair before and it wasn't like this, this is much cheaper and more comfortable. The design is engineered very well, it's sleek and very good looking. 10/10 Going to consider amazon products more often because this really took me by surprise.

Was eager to get a new chair as my last other chair has no headrest and lift shock is wornout.Positives*Easy enough to assemble. All parts included, hardware and wrench.*Breathable design on back and seat.*Flip-up arm rests to have more room*A head rest detachable and or adjustable in height.*Star fish leg base for good stabilityNegatives-Recline feature in this model doesn't stay reclined. Despite the handle fully functioning with height and lock to not recline. Operational Manual states it has three lock positions but can only find its sit up lock position and doesnt hold at any recline angle trying to "push handle back in".Essentially once unlocked handle pulled out to unlock recliner. It only rocks back and forth unable to position it at any reclined position when leaning back. As you lean forward it will go back to sit up position. The knob under the seat load tention set to most minimum to try anf lean back, but youll burn out or tire iut trying to stay back.If you fall asleep youll most likely fall forward startling you.

La silla es de un material muy bueno, la calidad es la esperada por el precio. Fresca, cómoda y muy fácil de armar.

Es una silla muy comoda y muy facil de armar. Apenas me tomo como 10 mins en tenerla lista para empezar a utilizar. Gracias a que el asiento y el respaldo son de malla, se mantiene fresca durante todo el tiempo de uso a diferencia de las sillas que no tienen flujo de aire en el respaldo ni en el asiento. Ampliamente recomendada.

Es facil de ensamblar, tiene buen soporte lumbar pero la malla es demasiado rigida lo que la hace incomoda por largos periodos y los descansabrazos me parecen no muy resistentes.

El tamaño y calidad son muy buenas, fácil de armado y la calidad de los componentes. es muy conveniente el asiento y respaldo de malla, que a diferencia de un cojín, será de mucha mayor duración y no se vencerá rápido así como con cojín.

La silla es muy básica pero muy cómoda. Deja pasar el aire asi que es perfecta si te da calor fácilmente y puedes estar sentado durante mucho tiempo sin cansarte demasiado.No tiene nada qué envidiar a marcas más caras. Es muy fácil de armar aunque sí es pesada.
