Hello.It all depends on the firmness of the pillow but a standard size will require between 10-20 OZ Down. A square 12x12'' will need between 5-10 OZ depends on the firmness.

Amazon kept my comment from December, 2016! Used down for other than pillow making, but am sure there'd be sufficient down for a standard pillow. Product description says so. Kimmy, if you purchase the down, consider following my suggestion for filling the shell. Stay away from plastics (static electricity) and in command of the down! Is like scooping up air.
