For children who like legos and robotics this is a great gift. Needs thought and care to assemble but the results are wonderful Very well made and something you will want to buy for children interested in building things

The fit of the pieces, remote controls, and rechargeable motor battery demonstrate this is a great value for the money. However, as seen in the video, the forward and reverse button control actions are reversed on the robot (e.g. press forward and it goes back), but left and right buttons result in correct actions. We tried flipping the controller over so left hand has forward and reverse, which solves that problem, but now right and left are reversed. Oh well, our expectations were not high with a "plastic brick" knock-off product. We've used other knock off brick packages before that were much lower quality, but I've been impressed with the quality of this unit and it is very close to the major brick brand (that we have buckets and buckets of). I primarily got this just to use the remote control with motors for other bulldozer or whatever projects, but along the way of my son building the robot and me tinkering it myself, I thought I should keep my eye open for more deals from this brand. I got this on a lightning deal and gave it to my son for Christmas and he recently put it together.

This was pretty fun to build and the instructions were clear and concise. It took a few hours to build in total. The remote control works well, and it is fun to drive around. My three-year-old really likes having it chase him around the house. It's probably better for older kids though because the pieces come off like LEGO pieces would, so I wouldn't recommend it for any kids that will just smash it. Either way, it's a really good toy for the price.

He turned 7 yrs old but has put together many large 500+ pieces of Lego sets. Some he did need help from parent to get certain parts placed properly but usually can do completely by himself. He is so excited as this is robot controlled by either controller that was included, cell phone, or his new tablet or voice control. This will be his first stem project and first remote control Lego he is making. Has a good start on it, will Take him several days to complete.

I bought this toy for my daughter and she is very excited. She is only 6 years old and need assistance from me. Once the robot is made. The control works really well and highly responsive. The robot could also be controlled by phone app.My daughter like the voice control mode and path mode on the phone APP best. She had been play with this little cute robot a few days and never felt bored. Definitely what I expected!

This set looks super cool! Unfortunately, the fun stops there.i have lots of Lego experience and was excited to build such a cool set with my 6yo (gramps got it for him for a birthday present). The instructions are very poor and the organization of the pieces in the bags makes is illogical. Originally, following completion, the dragon wouldn’t move. It was as though it wanted to collapse under It’s own weight. After a bit of tinkering, we got it to work. However, the movement is an erratic hopping, not smooth walking, that sends pieces flying with almost every step. Very disappointing. At $60 it’s not cheap My LEGO Technic sets all work perfectly. Just buy the real thing and go LEGO.
