Terrific book - not for the faint of heart though
I've made a couple of Marsha's feathered stars from an even older book - this one does not disappoint. It also has hints for choosing fabrics. It helps if you have her ruler -- https://www.amazon.com/Feathered-Star-Ruler-16th-Lines/dp/B002QVPKD8/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1534004595&sr=8-1&keywords=feathered+star+ruler The ruler is very useful for other precision piecing as well.

Wonderful Book
No one beats Marsha McCloskey when it comes to Feathered Star Quilt Blocks. Purchasing it from Amazon has saved me some money, and that is important in these times. The book provides numerous blocks that can be made into a quilt. Ms McCloskey provides excellent information and directions in her book. If you want a challange, purchase the book and make a block. Ms McCloskey provides excellent directions along with visuals. It may take time to read the instructions in the first part of the book, but well worth it. I wanted a challenge and this book provided that.

Show off your piecing skills!
I have made two feathered star quilts and I should have bought this book first. If you are looking for a book to help you show off your skills and have a breathaking result, this is the book. By no means is it quick and easy, but it is not that hard either.

I fine them very inspiring
Although I haven't made any of the quilts from this book, I fine them very inspiring. I can't wait to make my first feathered star quilt.

Great book for a classic quilt.
The feathered star is a complicated quilt pattern. However, the methods shown by Marsha make creating this classic so much more simple.
