This is the first dog pack we’ve used, so I don’t have much to compare with. I wanted something that he could carry his own food, bowls and other small accessories. I think for what we do, day hikes ranging 5-15 miles, I think this will work. My dog seemed comfortable and the strap I was worried would bother him, didn’t. I would say it a good pack! 1 hike down we will see how long it last!

This backpack is a lifesaver for hiking with your dog. Before when I would take my dog hiking, more often than not I'm carrying my food his food, my water, his water, bowl, leash, and poop bags like I’m his personal caddie.Since this backpack, I am making him carry his own things. We love it.

Love the pack the only thing with all of these backs just about is that they do have a tendency to swing around the body of the dog when on the move. But we are newbies to these things so suspect once we get a routine all will be well. You have room for a 16 oz bottle of water, bag of snacks, and pop bags on each side.

The quality of this saddle bag is top notch. Our pup was so excited to put it on and strut his stuff. We will definitely be using this for camping and hiking trips in the near future! The color is great, compartments will fit just enough and the water bowls are an awesome bonus! The fit was just right, we sized up because our pup has some girth around the chest area and it was perfect. Straps are adjustable and the padding all around seems very comfortable. If you’re still reading reviews and contemplating which bag to go with, this is the one!

So glad I purchased this pack for my dog. My dog absolutely loves it. The pack is lightweight but seems to be very durable. I love the fact that it came with two bowls for her water and food. I keep the collapsible bowls stuffed in the elastic bungee pockets and keep her food, extra water, and first aid in the zippered pockets. So glad I took a chance on this pack.

I just received the pack and put it on my pup. It’s the cutest! I loaded it with all her necessities and she prances around the yard like a princess. Safe to say, she loves it!! Great Construction. Definitely recommend this pack.
