I purchased this for my husband. I know nothing about it, but, he seemed very happy with this product.

So, each tube is pretty small and I only used one (as per recommended by the instructions) after I wiped the old grease and replaced it with a long bead of this new grease, it did make my opener much quieter than before. Now that 1 month has gone by, the machine is still quiet but I feel I should put another tube down the screw because I'm starting to see excessive vibrations when opening and closing the door. I don't think one tube is enough for the whole length of the screw.However, the lube itself is really viscous and does wjat it says it does. I would purchase this again.

Didn't know how bad the garage door lubrication points were. My system is the screw drive. Used this and now the door is a lot quieter going up and down. Have 2 doors and used 1 tube to lubricate both doors. used a fair amount since it hasn't been done it in a while.Not the biggest tubes, but they work like they should. would purchase again.

Our screw type garage door opener was so loud that I was embarrassed to use the door. Previously I have been using a silicone type spray to lubricate the screw mechanism which was super messy and only lasted for a couple of days. I purchased this grease and discovered that it is easy to apply without the dripping mess from the spay lube I had been using. The garage door now runs almost as quietly as when it was new 15 years ago. One small tube contains just the right amount of grease for one application. Easy to use and saved me from purchasing a whole new garage door opener which I was planning to do because of the noise. I had used the spray silicone method several times per year with poor results. I just goes to show, doing a bit of research and then using the correct solution for an application is much wiser than doing what “should” work, based on limited knowledge. Hoping to get more years of quite service from our garage door opener by using the correct product to keep it running smoothly. Very pleased to have finally figured this out. Terry from Texas
