I did not expect much given the quantity of toys, especially with the $15 price tag (bird toys usually burn a hole through the wallet) but let me tell you, my parrot has never been happier with a toy, or in general!Specifically, one of my quakers is a rescue who I adopted with a severely damaged beak, and she developed a fear of just about everything around her. She is barely comfortable sitting on my fingers, and I’ve had other toys in her cage before, which she was fine with, but not amused much. But I reluctantly swapped these toys in, which I thought would be destroyed in a day or ignored like usual, since they do look pretty cheap and unspecial, which was what I expected for the price.But good lord, she was already regurgitating and try to mate with the hanging toys in this bundle within the hour! She was making all of the happy sounds a proud bird momma yearns to hear, she was getting funky and dancing on her perch to the tune of the cheap bell!Trust me when I say that parrots don’t care about quality. It’ll probably be a hit or a miss for your parrot, but it’s not because the toy is less attractive to the human eye, nor because it is more or less difficult to tear apart— although the toys do come to shreds pretty quickly, and make quite the mess to clean up, but what’s new for parrot parents?I don’t know what it is with these toys, but my parrot is in some parrot paradise. Will it lead your feathered friend to the same destination? Maybe not, but maybe so. It’s 15 bucks, that’s the price of the usual small bird toy at most places, and while I prefer to support local aviaries by shopping in-store, this was definitely a purchase I don’t regret buying from a big business on the side.
