This is the ONLY histamine-free probiotic that works for me (only 1 other I found had 2 xtra ingred. that gave me issues). Nice that it is taken with/wo food! Very surprised at how effective it is without the typical intestinal die-off when killing bad bacteria. Realized my candida was out of control and causing me to binge eat carbs late at night-- within 3-4 days of taking this, ZERO carb cravings! However, don't make the mistake of only taking 1 or 2/day, as it requires 3-4/2x day! ALL probiotics need to be taken enough to reestablish good gut health (told to me by a reputable nutritionist). Once I started taking enough, my gut really changed! I do 1-2 caps 2x/day with food on a maintenance schedule. Or, if I'm having a gut issue, I take 1-2 between food for extra impact. At this point, there might be some die off. Pleasantly surprised at the decrease in head chatter and reduced anxiety. BONUS that It's histamine free, which is why I really bought it! All in all a quality product at a decent price. THIS histamine-free probiotic has worked wonders with helping to KEEP ME SANE DURING THE PANDEMIC!!! Seriously! I have maintained a pretty even keel in mood and anxiety levels living alone w/limited outside contact. THIS MOOD PROBIOTIC IS THAT GOOD! I cannot stress enough how important it is to keep histamines out of your probiotic if trying to heal your gut! It's an oxymoron trying to heal the gut with histamines in gut products.

This stuff is really powerful. I usually have no reaction to a probiotic, or sometimes a negative reaction, which is not always gastro! Highly recommended to experiment with these products by very gradually taking them and building up a full dose, noting symptoms, and comparing. This one helps my mood, lowers my reactivity to foods. I have constipation now and a bit more joint pain, but I was able to decrease an antidepressant dose by 75% over a couple of weeks! No rebound anxiety, no depression. I tried switching to the bifido blend and felt very different: worse mood, better energy, poor sleep, elevated heart rate.I have tried a lot of probiotics over the years and these are the first to have such strong effects on me. I really wish there were more of these blends because so far, each has a trade off between benefits and side effects. I still have the sbo one to try though! These are so powerful, and a good price for how much you get--I've paid far more for many probiotics that did nothing at all. Your reaction is going to be individual; it might take some patience and experimentation. I initially started with a half pill and that was too much! When I took a tiny bit and built up I was fine. The company is excellent and responsive with communication--Sylvia sent me a different bottle to try when I was first having issues.

[Small update: Have revised this many times over the weeks and even months since I found the product, and ended up not emphasizing the fact that this really does give me enough that I am investing in it finally.] The bottle I just received as a new subscriber: July 29, 2023. Have you found others that expire in 2023? The latest trend seems to be on lower quality products to print the date in palest yellow on white bottles, to accomplish ? .... we can speculate as to why supplement sellers chose to do this. This company prints in black on white. Both tell about the integrity of the company founders - just a small detail but telling is the printing. But the matter of the sole long expiration is just one of others to discover. More' for less ...for both digestion and mood. The low number (5 plus Rhamnosus GG) leaves room for more cfu per strain with these strains selected so carefully for effectiveness. Compare with other probiotics both mood and regular including for example from InnovixLabs and the Amazon best selling mega strain offerings that seem like such bargains....and try thinking in terms of high strain count or mega high coupled with not high enough cfu (up to you to determine that). You may find you want more percentage-wise of effective strains and fewer of them. It comes down to effectiveness knowing your strains and wanting more of the ones that work. Five species of bifido - and excellent ones - I received the exact strains from Sylvia when I asked and promised I wouldn't reveal - are helpful and bifido declines rather rapidly as the body gets older.

I have been taking one capsule daily and haven’t noticed any change in bathroom habits or my mood, but this stuff cleans out my kids (6&11). The eleven year old takes one capsule daily and says she’s going very easily now, almost too easily. I asked if she had any cramps and she said no. The six year old was a little backed up, so I sprinkled 1/3 capsule in his cereal and later that day, he urgently had to go and unloaded. He also said no pain. I wish it did the same for me, maybe I need more, but I can definitely tell it’s got some viable bacteria in there.
