He's a pretty big guy. 5"9. 225 lbs, he's pretty muscular up top and this was my only concern for a good fit. I purchased the XL and it fit him well. I think it may be a tad small since he seems to fuss with the ties some, but he only wears this sparingly. Overall, I like it how it looks on him. The feel is nice. I feel like this is a "you get what you pay for item". I'm not SUPER impressed but since he's not wearing it everyday, it's not a big deal.
