Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition (PS4)

played GTA since the beginning on PS1, picked this Definitive Edition up cheaply seen as it was released 4 years ago. The 3 games have been slightly enhanced for textures, draw distances and modern GTA controls (they can be switched back to classic though) so they can be played on modern TV ratios. They still look like a PS2 game, just the best quality possible. The disc also installed all 3 games separately onto the PS4 console. Sadly the cheat codes have been removed from all games, something to do with the updated engine the games are now played on. They have taken me back in time, if you are used to playing GTAV, the game mechanics here will frustrate you, driving vehicles is rough and the streets are narrow, takes a bit getting used to. Have not encountered any glitches, so updates must have fixed them.

Bit of nostalgia with the vice city works great brought back some old memories with the friends. Works good with little to none glitches

Complete all games on ps4 however quality graphics near same as ps2 But because it has three games more data has froze couple times during vice city has start new game but that could related my pre owned ps4.

I’m a big GTA fan, so having all three classic games in one collection is great. The stories, maps, and atmosphere still hold up, and it’s a lot of nostalgia revisiting them on modern hardware. Not perfect, but very enjoyable if you love the originals.

Well worth the money can’t wait to play it

Is better now rockstar took back control of the game and released much needed updates before the update the game was a joke but now it’s a lot more improved. I can’t believe Sony wants £40 for this game on digital version so I came on to Amazon and it’s less than half of the price for PlayStation 4 and it plays on a ps5 so I’m happy. It’s good to be able to go to the airport and fly like I used to and cruise around town listing to music but sadly half off the songs have been removed by rockstar since the licenses expired but I’m just glad that this game is playable now and has better lighting and graphics, the original studio in charge of the game should have been ashamed of themselves for all the bugs and issues which are now fixed

Great three game I used to play on My Playstation 2 so had to get them.
