Below is my review after 75 miles of hiking. For context, I've owned these boots for a few months, and all of my hiking was done in the San Tan mountains of Arizona. The trails there are a mixture of hard-packed dirt, rocky sections, sand, and steep rocky inclines with loose sand and gravel (e.g. Goldmine Mountain). Grip: 5/5 At first, looking at the photos in the listing, I wasn't sure about the grip, but the boots have done well on rocky inclines as well as sections with loose sand and gravel. Ventilation/Cooling: Neutral. I hike in Arizona where temps are normally on the warmer side. I haven't really noticed a difference in this category in the different boots I have owned. No complaints. Durability: 4/5 Overall they are holding up well. I'm not concerned about stepping on jagged/spiked rocks as the boots seem to be fairly tough, and the sides and laces are solid. There is a small section where the sole is starting to separate as shown in the photo, which seems premature, but otherwise the boots have been solid. Weight: Neutral. The boots are light and durable at the same time. No complaints. Comfort: 5/5 My goal with hiking boots is to not have to think about them when hiking, whether that means being concerned about durability, or having pinch points that poke into my feet. These boots are very comfortable, and don't hurt my feet at all. Quality: 4.5/5 Other than the small separation noted above, the boots are holding up very well after hiking many rocky trails. The tread and grip are great, and the overall construction of the materials, lace holes and laces appears to be high quality with no issues so far. The bottom line is that I have full confidence in these boots, and if this same model is available when my current boots wear out, I would buy the exact same boots again. Hopefully this information is helpful to others.

I've wore Skechers shoes, boots and flip-flops for years and am rarely disappointed. My husband has an ankle that he's broken more than once and has had surgery on it including pins. He's had a difficult time wearing anything but high work boots but after many years wanted to try more of a hiking type boot. I convinced him to try Skechers and these are the boots he decided to order. He's wore them off and on for a few weeks now and has been impressed with the comfort and support. The quality seems to be really good so hopefully these will hold up as well as my Skechers have.

I had good luck with other Skechers outdoor shoes so decided to try these. I have been a dedicated Merrill Moab and Keen boot customer for many years but the $ are getting high and Merrill’s quality control is not always the best. The Skecher Relment- Pelmo boots appear to be a very good value. Overall quality is very good. Seams are accurately stitched and the overall cut and finish is very good. As with other Skechers, they have plenty of room in the toe box. Metal lace eyelets are well secured. Have had them in the snow briefly and they shed water like a duck. The arch and foot pads are sewn in. Arch support is marginal, however there is enough room to comfortably add a Dr Scholl’s arch support boot liner. This will improves the fit and makes the boots warmer. The Skechers are a very good light hiking, around town, daily wear boot and will get a lot of use.
