I had a Mardi Gras Birthday party and they were perfect for the Gumbo. They are very sturdy and the lids fit tight so no spills. People were able to rinse them out to reuse their container to take home home leftovers. Don't let it sit in water, but you can use dish soap, rinse , let dry and reuse maybe a few times. Depending on what your using it for. I was saving some leftovers for a few friend and I wrote what each one had in it and their names on the lid. It made it so much easier , I didn't have to go through each one to get to the right person.
